There will be new mapping software in the next few months as part of the Sync 3.5.1 upgrade.

I don't choose one trick pony cars. My criteria is; a. Handling b. Performance c. Ride compliance d. Safety d. Tech options e. Sound System Best mpg with the combination of a + b + c and the C-Max fit better than anything on the market I could find for the price.

Mpgomatics reviews always seemed more balanced and objective. I loved the comment the C-Max reviewer said: "If most of your driving is highway, I'll be straightup with you get a diesel".

The iPod Touch does have bluetooth. Here is the complete list with supported profiles; http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3647 -

I do the same and usually bait those types up to the speed I want. Quickly pull over, let them by, pull behind and draft.

iPhone 5 works great with bluetooth streaming and sound quality is much better than I expected. -
I usually only visit the site for Monthly Dashboard sales stats. Now I can no longer believe those numbers are real either. Credibility gap for the entire site.

Have you tried playing a SACD? I haven't made any yet but I do have some DVD-A's that it didn't recognize. -
I have had this problem with other in car Nav systems, Subaru and Lexus, hasn't happened yet on my VW. I usually double check destinations entered into my Subaru with the TomTom app on my iPhone 5 for accuracy.

Last month when C-Max sales figures beat Prius V there was an uptick in media attention and influx of posters here questioning the EPA mileage results. Coincidence? Former and current Prius owners also seem generate more complaints on C-Max mpg? Might make an interesting poll.

So you currently own a 2008 Escape Hybrid and a (?) Prius with no drop in fuel economy noticed during cold weather?

Is this the first hybrid you have owned?

Prius V Earns Poor Rating in IIHS Overlap Crash Test
darrelld replied to darrelld's topic in Articles, News & Reviews
Unfortunately for Prius V and Camry drivers; We don't know the C-Max ratings yet but it shares a platform with the 2013 Focus and Escape who perform well; http://www.iihs.org/ratings/ratingsbyseries.aspx?id=328 http://www.iihs.org/ratings/ratingsbyseries.aspx?id=322 -
You can go to syncmyride.com and get the info from there. I would think the dealers should register the versions there but I can't confirm this.

The fueleconomy.gov site depends upon data submitted by owners. I am one of the data reports listed there and they don't verify authenticity. It is essentially no different than Fuelly except some may fear reporting false info on a government site.

I will double check this in my C-Max Hybrid, behavior should be the same. The cargo area outlet would make an ideal jump point for my Stanley Simple Start.

I always have my foot on the brake when powering off, no problems so far. As an insurance policy I do carry the Stanley Simple Start, fits perfectly in the small compartment in the hatch.

Have you tried configuring a MyView screen with those parameters? -
Congrats, you have the same C-Max as me.
