This makes me wanna hit the interstate.

The build up will be incredible for when it arrives!! Plan a trip, register on fuelly, think of a name for your car, get the paperwork lined up, buy some goodies for the car and dream of all the fun that is awaiting!! :)

Question: what are expecting to get on the interstate going 70mph? 47? Not likely, tho I am sure someone out there has done it. I took a trip doing 70mph and got 39 mpg. That's still 12 better than your van. How much more were you expecting? Again, 47 is unlikely. Now, driving on the highway you could expect that same 47! Highway speeds are a bit slower than interstate and frequent speed changes. My point? Time is money. Or in this case it's mpg. If you have the time enjoy the scenery and take the highway. I can hear you now asking who has that kind of time??? Then you'll pay for it with mpg. At least the cmax is sportier than the van, fun to drive to boot.

Laurel, at first I thought the blinker was silly. Now? Love that three blinks and your done! We call it the Texas blinker. No offense to the texans. When we travel in Texas that's how it's done. They give you three blinks and then they are moving over, ready or not you better make room for them. I love the rain sensor wipers too. I never have to fool with them. Once it starts raining they kick on, speed up on their own and even turn themselves off!!

Lol. My husband will often say he didn't hear me because he didn't see my hands moving. Lol

This is my test tank. I am driving it like a normal car. I switched the screens so I cannot even see if it in EV. I will have to check again. Last I checked it was 41. But I recently took friends to dinner and they wanted to "test" the power. That kinda dropped my mpg but not by much. I think it's at 39 now. 40-41 driving like a reg car is just fine with me. I am saving more than in my Tahoe. My dad watches his like a hawk lol and I think he is at the same mpg as I am. Granted, I have way more miles. I think he is on his second tank, finally! So, you are not alone in just driving. I will say that I am not heavy on the foot and tend to brake well and coast a lot. I am a natural hybrid driver :)

Can someone explain how to see the weather map? I never could get it to work.

I stood just outside the door when we picked the cars up and tested it. I was heard just fine. And was using a normal talking voice. I have to remind myself they CAN hear me, I don't have to yell. I am sure I get funny looks going down the road as I talk on my phone in my car all alone. I am laughing and waving a free hand (southerns talk with their hands ya know, so others can understand us).

My town isn't very big. I am getting 41mpg driving my car. That's just driving it like a regular car. I don't watch the EV and I don't force it into EV. this tank is my test tank. 41. It's not the 47. But it's a helluva lot better than my Tahoe at 17. My dad bought one too. He's at 41 mpg. It's better than his pt Cruizer, which was getting 21? It's a nicer car. Comfy. The 47 isn't what sold me. It helped tremendously but it wasn't a deal breaker for me. I know if I worked at it I could easily get the 47. I am just enjoying it. Life is short. Gotta have fun.

I use the Phone a lot, just not on the interstate. Mine works great.

I have spotify and use it via Bluetooth in my car or I plug my phone in and use it that way. What's the benefit to having it applinkedfied?
