I googled. That is a stretch of road we will be traveling. Really bad pile up. Two people died. Lots of semis in the pileup. I see ambulances from my town helped out. Very scary.

Yes, we all went to my sisters. Dad did an oil less fried turkey and it was so good. Lots of food, fun and new memories. My sister had a baby in August after 18 yrs of trying and adopting 2 kids. Yes, my family would make a great sitcom. Hmmm, haven't heard about that. I am in southwest Louisiana- 50 miles up from the gulf and about 45 miles from the tx border. We were hit hard with hurricane Rita. Never wanna go thru that again. Oh and my 92 yr old grandmother was there too. We ate too much and laughed too much.

Dad and I are hitting the road back to the dealer who was willing to haggle. Hoping to haggle some more and get a great black Friday car! If not, we will hit a few dealers close by. Wish us luck.

True. The traffic is real time and that info comes via Sirius. Do u have Sirius radio in the car? You may have to call and get it activated. I read on another forum someone was having trouble with icons not showing up as the neared exits. Icons for gas and gas prices and food. That was fixed with a setting change. Hope it's resolved quickly.

Every time I talk about this car the same thing comes out my mouth - I cannot believe how much they have crammed into this car! All you said and my fans: knee bags, parental controls, sensors while driving to slow you down on corners/curves, etc. the comforts and pleasures of driving!

Bob, same here. Always been a Chevy family. My hunny recently bought a dodge and loves it. My dad has fords and loves them.

Lol. I am jumping feet first. Hope it's not into the frying pan. I don't feel that way but my Hunny was a Chevy guy for yrs and just recently got a dodge. And guess what? He loves it. He is happy I found a car I love that gets great gas mileage but he doesn't like the fact he cannot work on them much anymore. Heck, even my 03 Tahoe there is not much he work on. I am excited beyond belief to finally say YES, the cmax is the car I want. I have been to many dealers and drove many different vehicles. Nothing compares. :)

When I had the cmax for the weekend, remembering where the key fob was became downright scary lol. I knew it was on me because the doors unlocked but even still I would panic being unable to find it. Was it in my purse? My pocket??? Where is it?? I know when I have my own fob my house keys will be attached so I will know where it is. This was keeping track of two sets of keys. On my Tahoe the doors will not lock if the keys are in the ignition. Anyone know if you can lock the fob in the car?

Dad and I looked at a cmax at a tee-tiny dealer. I mean small! He had just received the cmax on Monday and did a crash course to show us the vehicle <giggle>. I think we learned him a few things. Anyway, we found in the manual how to show the tach reading, but my question is where do I go to see the oil pressure and temp of my car and the battery? Those are things my husband has trained me to look at often when driving. Any idea?
