  1. As for add-ons to the C-Max I'd like to see would be a back-up alarm, as the C-Max is very stealthy when in reverse. (We did have the dealer install an aftermarket one, the cost was only about $80 all together). For lighting it would be nice if they would do LEDs.
  2. Any good solutions for those who have a pacemaker, for the mounting of a stylus?
  3. Laurel, my C-Max has the panoramic roof so thankfully don't have to worry about the B-Pillar issue. Thankfully we found out that the dealership has performed the 3.5.1 update on other C-Maxes. I just rechecked the dealership inventory & they have a C-Max SE with package 203B that has the solid roof out for sale.
  4. They pulled all the C-Maxes affected, & there are only 3 C-Maxes for sale right now (all have the pano roof). EDIT: The dealership has 1C-Max SE with Package 203B that has the regular roof on it. The others are C-Max Energis with Pano Roofs.
  5. Currently sitting @ the dealership for Round 2 of the 3.5.1 update. I went out & checked their inventory & the C-Maxes that are out all have the Panoramic Roof on them. The rest were pulled.
  6. Currently @ the dealership for Round 2 of installing the 3.5.1 update.
  7. The dealership where we got Neytiri, at last check, had 4 C-Maxes for sale (2 were Energis). When we go in tomorrow, I'll recheck their inventory & ask them about TSB concerning the roof.
  8. I do the keys on the carbineer, so that I know I won't accidentally press buttons when getting to the key to lock/unlock, also makes it a bit faster to lock/unlock the car. Also this way I have more pocket room.
  9. More recently when I do shopping at Costco, I will grab an empty box off the sales floor & take it with me up to the register, prepackaged with the items I want in it. Depending on the item size, I will put items in the small little compartment near the gas funnel, to eliminate items falling out.
  10. I'll find out tomorrow about 3.5.1, unfortunately being that we got the 3rd C-Max off the lot & rarely seen any other C-Max in our region, I am kinda guessing that our's is gonna be the first install on the C-Max they have done. We originally took Neytiri in on July 3rd, to have both the 3.5.1 update & the liftgate update done, as well as regular maintenance. The liftgate update was successful, however the 3.5.1 update was a dud, as apparently they did not have their computer systems updated to handle the operation(s) that needed to be done. Tomorrow will be round 2 of them doing the 3.5.1 update. Currently, we have no radio, navigation, working clock,or voice commands cause of the mess up. When we talk to the SA, I'll make that recommendation about the computer having a hardwired internet connection to ensure the best results. When we took the car in on July 3rd, we were given a loaner (2012 Ford Fusion SE), & they had Neytiri till the afternoon of July 5th. According to the SA, the mechanic worked on the 3.5.1 update for 12+ hours to no avail, partly due to the computer issues.

  12. We have 2 phones which get paired with Neytiri, it just depends on who is driving. Both are on the Sprint Network. One is a Samsung Galaxy Nexus with Android 4.2.1, The other one is a Samsungalaxy S 2 (Epic 4G Touch) with Androiid 4.1.2 As of yet, have not had a chance to test with 3.5.1 Concerning both phones, they pair nicely & the phonebooks are downloaded. Have not had any text messages read to us on either phone, so I might be missing a setting somewhere.
  13. When we take Neytiri in tomorrow to have the SYNC with MFT Update done, I'll ask about that.
  14. Concerning the ADA, the regulation concerning the disabled/handicapped parking is all through the state level, concerning the signage, space design, & fine. All the ADA is at the Federal Level is a guideline.
  15. Is there any way you can share your MPG Experience with the rest of us so that the rest of us can try to be better C-Max drivers?
  16. Same thing can be said for anyone living in Oregon. Basically the only way to pump your own gas there is to go to a Pacific Pride or CFN station. It irks me as a Washington State resident, that Oregon Residents can come up here and purchase items tax-free (sales tax exempt), yet when we go down there we have to pay the additional fee for beverages & have to have our gas pumped for us (however let us pump our own gas, & you can have sales tax exemptions).
  17. I am curious what thoughts are on what accessories or add-ons you would to see for the C-Max. Any new safety features/options? Different lighting setups? Customizable MFT/NAV Settings?
  18. Right now we're sitting at 28,751 miles after having our C-Max for 9 months. At the ten month mark, it would not surprise me if we are at the 31,000 mile mark.
  19. That's a big part of the problem, not all dealerships/sales personnel offer to do a demo of Active Park Assist. To use the Active Park Assist, is something that you have to train yourself how to use properly. The few times I've used it, I've almost forgotten myself what I'm doing, thankfully though with having the backup alarm installed I get a quick reminder. I also pay very close attention to the MFT/VAV Screen for directions when using Active Park Assist.
  20. The dealership registered us before we left with the C-Max. Either the service department is not inputting records or I am missing something. We've requested service appointments through http//:owner.ford.com & have gotten an immediate response back about the appointment from the dealership, just no service records are being posted.
  21. 28,751 miles & a lifetime brake score of 93% Three different drivers with three different driving styles (one of those driver's driving style is more designed for a sports car, than a hybrid). Lowest one-time brake score I know about was a 75%, as we rarely have to do fast, immediate stops.
  22. Every time I log into http://owner.ford.com I notice that even though we've had our C-Max serviced at the Ford Dealership, I am not seeing anything listed under Service History. Is anyone else having a similar issue where they have no service history, even though their C-Max has been worked on?
  23. In our case, it wasn't until after we bought Neytiri that we even had a chance to try the active park assist, as the dealership did not have an area set up to showcase it. Yes, Active Park Assist is a great selling point, as parallel parking is becoming a lost art as only time you see parallel parking anymore is really within the big cities or in areas that are predominantly on-street parking.
  24. I'm curious how many have Vanity/Personalized Plates for their C-Max or are wanting to get customized plates.
  25. The big drawback about the Active Park Assist is that not all dealerships have a demo area set up for consumers to try it out. We've used it a couple of times, in the 9 months since getting Neytiri (our C-Max).
