  1. My father found out about this today, while cleaning out the glove box in our C-Max. There's a clip on the lid that will hold a tire gauge, pen, or stylus. Below are 2 pictures I took of the clip with a tire gauge.

Here's our solution to mounting a stylus in our 2013 C-Max Hybrid SEL

  5. Last time we got the message we had about 5,000 since last change. This is only the 2nd time it's come on as we are doing the 5,000 change schedule. This time around, it was at about the 3,000 mark when it came on, however was doing some driving on unpaved country roads with cars kicking up a lot of dust, so thinking there's some clogging of the filters.
  6. It will vary depending on conditions & driving habits.
  7. Those numbers are real good, just remember what you were doing to continue getting those numbers.
  8. So far we've put on about 1,100 miles since the Oil Change Required light came on. The service is tomorrow morning & being that we're Owners Advantage Rewards members plus the $10 Works rebate from last time, we might be paying only about $25 for the service.
  9. On the C-Max Energi window sticker, it states you can use EV for a maximum distance of 21-22 miles. We'll see what happens tomorrow after Neytiri comes out of the shop.
  10. You can get the PenPals in a three pack from Walmart for $2.88 (over in Office/School Supplies) & a stylus for about $9.88 (over in Home Entertainment/Electronics), so if you don't have either it'll cost about $13 before sales tax (if applicable Here's what we did for a stylus mount:

Here's the solution we came up with to put a stylus in our C-Max
  13. We are part of the Owner's Advantage Rewards Program.
  14. Legacy Ford was an early adopter to EVs/Hybrids, as they're now a Certified EV Dealership. On the lot right now, they have 2 Focus Electrics, 1-2 Fusion Energis, & 3 C-Max Energis. The owner does a lot of Barrett-Jackson as he's brought in some of those cars for display. Actually, in some ways, Legacy Ford is a better dealership than Russ Dean Ford (which was the previous ownership/name). We used to have 2 Ford dealerships in Tri-Cities (Pasco, Kennewick, Richland), but the other dealership couldn't compete as Lithia pulled it's Ford dealership out & turned it into a Honda dealership. The next closest Ford dealerships are in Moses Lake, Prosser, & Hermiston now.
  15. Being the C-Max is a brand new vehicle & having had issues in the past with the likes of Jiffy Lube, we will only have the servicing done through a Ford dealer. The scheduled service is not until 32,500, & currently sitting at 30,800, however some driving has been done on backcountry dirt roads so filters are likely clogged. We normally do the servicing every 5,000 miles (or every 4-5months on average).
  16. Concerning reviews, I say don't trust them period.
  17. For servicing, Legacy Ford in Pasco does a great job. You schedule in advance all services with them which can be beneficial. The Service Advisor we go through is Jere Gorsline, as he seems to be the most knowledgable about the C-Max & is very personable. In fact you can mention TSBs & Recalls to him, & if he hasn't heard about it, he'll look into it.
  18. Looking at your user name, you're not from Yakima are you? BTW Welcome to the club
  19. I'm concerned about the mileage cause of the fact that for us to go to town and back is a minimum of 100 miles (minus any errands). We have the service scheduled for next Tuesday, but between now & then we have 3 trips to town & back (with each trip being about 115 miles round trip).
  20. Last night I got the Change Oil Soon display to come up on the left screen of the dash, now it is showing Oil Change Required. I'm trying to remember how long we are allowed to drive after these displays come up? I am thinking it's 500 miles, but don't want to be steered wrong. So far have driven about 204 miles after first displaying.
  21. Any idea how it only took them a half hour to do the 13B07? I've been hearing an average time of 1 & a half hours to 2 hours.
  22. Next Tuesday @ 11 AM, we take Neytiri in to have 13B07 done, as well as next scheduled maintenance.
  23. I went in to my dealership today, to see about getting an appointment scheduled to have 13B07 done. Unfortunately none of the SAs knew anything about it (my regular SA was not in). So it looks as if I'll have to do a hurry up & wait. I did send an e-mail to my SA but likely won't get a response till tomorrow.
  24. We're purchasing ours, which is kind of a money saver as we currently have over 30,600 miles on our C-Max in 10 months. I'd hate to see what the extra mileage charge would be like if we were leasing.
  25. The one feature we rarely use is the Active Park Assist (as there's rarely the need to parallel park around here). Using navigation can actually help with Fuel Efficiency, so we use it almost everywhere we go.
