  1. If you are looking for Aerodynamic Mods that actually work look at my You Tube video on aero Mods: http://fordcmaxhybridforum.com/topic/6568-how-to-drive-a-cmax-hybridffh-to-get-great-gas-mileage/page-1:) Paul
  2. This is what I was reading: https://www.greencarreports.com/news/1113896_2019-ford-escape-to-get-plug-in-hybrid-plus-expedition-suv-hybrid-lincoln-versions-too-report Paul
  3. Hopefully it will be over soon. :) Paul
  4. Again it looks like the new Hybrid Escape is going to take the place of it. Paul
  5. It looks like the Escape Hybrid/ plugin is going to replace the CMAX in 2019. Not sure if I'm happy or sad, I'm sure it won't get the MPG's of the CMAX. Paul
  6. Here is a new Link with OM for 2013 CMAX: http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/catalog/owner_guides/13cmhom3e.pdf Paul
  7. As it turns out there are two fuse boxes shown on pages 272 to 276 in the owners Manual. Our Forum Links don't work for OM so I need to add this link: http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/catalog/owner_guides/13cmhom3e.pdf:) Hope this helps. Paul
  8. Seems to me it was kind of expensive and it is easy to do yourself. Had the same problem and replacing the battery solved the problem. :) Paul
  9. If I had the time I could graph the difference between computer and actual MPG as MPG's go up. I have 282 fill-ups. :) Paul
  10. The fronts wear out some faster than the backs, but crisscross rotating the tires does the job. I got 64k mi. on first set, 60k mi. second set, they weren't worn out, but I was going on long trips in the snow so I wasn't going to take a chance. I have almost 50k mi. on third set and easily make 60+k mi. :) BTW these were OEM Michelin's. Paul
  11. With 173k mi. I have never cleaned my throttle body with K&N air filter for most of the miles. Also I haven't cleaned the filter either and my oil analysis numbers are great. :) Paul
  12. For New Members I thought I would mention with temps going down My video on How to Get Great Gas Mileage in your CMAX Video. Total views are upto 4100 now. Go to Post #1 to view videos. Paul
  13. I thought I would mention for those who don't want to make or can't make Grill Covers I have 3 sets left, you can PM me for more info. It's getting cold and snow out there. :) Paul
  14. It will be interesting to see how you do in the snow. :) Paul
  15. Another observation along these lines is the better your actual MPG's are, the closer the Smart MPG Gauge is to the point where I got my two 68 mpg tanks, I actually got 2-3 mpg better than the gauge. :) Paul
  16. The pump I used was analog, not electronic digital. LOL :) Paul
  17. We have covered in the "600 mile club Posts" and I have run out 6 times and it has taken 13.9 to 14 gallons to fillup the tank. A few interesting points, you can usually go 25 mi. past Empty, I have gone at least 60 mi. past empty without running out. I have never run out of gas going uphill, gas goes to back of tank. I did get 14.1 gal. in my tank with the car parked with the back uphill, I didn't run out of gas, but I'm sure it was close. :) The ICE will start up immediately after filling up. No problems, BTW I have 172k mi. on MADMAX and still getting great MPG's. :) Paul
  18. Just to remind CMAX Owners that the center grill should be covered at all times. The lower grill has radiator, transmission, DC to DC inverter and A/C coolers so cover needs to be removed when temps get high for these coolers. I monitor WT so when temp reaches 230*F it's time to remove part or all of lower cover or turn defrost, heater on to lower temps. :) Paul
  19. One thing I didn't like was the stiffer steering feel on 2017 which I attribute to being lot newer suspension and 38psi vs 50psi in my tires. :) Paul
  20. Not sure how you would integrate that with a CMAX front end. As it is the CMAX has way to much cooling for the ICE and not sure that would improve aerodynamics either. :headscratch: Paul
  21. Not sure what you are trying to do. Can you show pictures? I used Velcro so the spoiler could come off if I hit something. Paul
  22. So with Grill Covers on today going to work OT 45*F. with car in garage, oil pan heaters plugged-in, WT 91*F and SOC 40%. The 7 mile trip is 45 mph with several signals and takes about 13 minutes, at work WT was 180*F, 51 mpg and 45% SOC. :) Didn't use heater or electric seats, garage temp was 66*F. Paul
  23. My Michelin tire noise is more annoying at 20mph than 65-70mph and I'm running 50 psi. :) Paul
  24. I was wondering how much your MPG's have gone down with the colder weather? :headscratch: Paul
