I think I know what you're talking about, grgg. I've been noticing it more. I think, I'm under 60, no ICE noise, where's the blue. But, like JohnTrigger, I've gotten use to it, and it isn't that frequent.

Cmax 2004????? -
My dealership had a little "welcome seminar" for new Ford owners. I asked in the store if they had the cup holder divider, and the guy at the counter could find neither hide nor hair of it.

Ooooh, it hurts to even look at those pics. SO sorry about your loss. Hopefully, your insurance co. will do right by you. -
Hey, Jus, nice job. Thanks for taking the time to put your thoughts together. PIN IT! PIN IT! That's my humble suggestion.

Laurel, you sound like a friend of mine who can wallpaper her kitchen, reseal her deck, knit sweaters for her 3 grandkids, wash her car (after changing the oil)... all before 10 in the morning! Adair, congrats on the promotion! Thanks for taking the time to help out our forum.

Dear Moderator, some transplanted ausie wanna-be Angelino posted vile thoughts above, using the word bu** several times ... Oh wait, that was you! :shoppingcart_: (As*es being laughed off).

MTB, good on you! I have a question for you (and other SF drivers): how do the hills affect your mileage? Do you lose out, or do you find that going down makes up for the mpg you lose going up?

Hi Dave, enjoy the car and the forum. Most any question can be (if not already) answered here. I think most of us realize the few shortcomings of "our" car, but still love it! Hope you do as well.

Hi Azure, welcome to the forum. The cars are alike in so many ways that this is a good source of info for both. Read away!

One thing I found by accident: if your IPhone 4/5 is synced with your car, and you hold the button on the phone to bring up Siri, she will communicate with you through the car. Surprised the heck out me the first time it happened: "Siri, what are you doing in my car???!!!"

Snow, this is part of the exciting time...anticipation! T minus 4 days and counting .............

Bev: Regarding "MyKey": the manual states: MyKey allows you to program keys with restricted driving modes to promote good driving habits. All but one of the keys programmed to the vehicle can be activated with these restricted modes. If you're going with the SEL, a lot of things you mention, like the winter package and push button start, come standard (and, I think, are worth the extra price of the SEL). BTW, the SEL comes with leather seats, not cloth.

What to do before driving away from dealership?

The MPG number shown in many of the display views isn't reset from Lifetime. It is under the "inform" view: just hold down the OK button (left of steering wheel and it will reset to zero). -
Man that A-Pillar is huge. Thankfully I am used to that kind from my camaro. Visibility is almost the same. Also those tiny A-Pillar windows are dumb, but I did find one decent use. The turn signal shines through them quite nicely at night. I can see the reflection against the plastic. Another reminder that the turn signal is on and working. I find the A-Pillar window VERY helpful: when the clothes washer selection knob is in the middle of the window, I know I've pulled far enough into the garage that the garage door won't hit my tail!

I keep my manual in my glove compartment, just in case, but do most of my "research" in the online manual. Easier to search.

Richard, welcome to the forum. You probably won't get as good mileage in the winter, but according to people who have survived a hard winter (lot of stories/experience in this forum), the car performs well. Enjoy the new car.

I ran across a twin of my Silver Gray SEL today, parked at a McDonalds.

Thanks for sharing the experience. Even though it may not have happened to many/most of us, it's good to have in the back of our minds so that if it does happen, we'll know we're not the only ones and that it's a "known" issue.

Enjoy the anticipation!
