Ok ran out of gas today on the way home after driving well over 60 miles with the screen at 0 miles to empty. Below is my screenshot for this epic event. Pretty much knew when I ran out because all of a sudden a warning comes up to pull over when safe with as big red triangle with an exclamation point inside just like at the bottom right of my screenshot. I was so bummed when I ran out, half way to 700miles. Not that I thought I could make it but it would have been nice. Now I have to do it all over again only better than the last tank so I can make it to 700miles. It is really obvious that I have to improve my stopping and starting and get those 100% brake scores more often. It does make a difference at the end. First time I used my 2 gallon gas can, worked pretty good with the factory gas nozzle in the back of the cargo area. However my gas can must not have been tight because gas leaked all over the ground. Not too good for the environment. Messy using that can because as remove the lid and reverse the direction of the pouring nozzle I got gas all over my hands. Might need to bring some surgical gloves for next time. Looking for 700+ miles on the next tank.

going for broke tomorrow on the way to work. Should run out if I don't chicken out???? Was hoping to get the EV miles up to 400miles, never seen that before. Speaking of EV miles I want to ask a question which might seem stupid to allot of you. But I'm unclear about something. Is the EV miles shown just a number taken from the total overall miles traveled on the current tank? In this case 628.3mi of which 397.0 where EV, Correct?

I know it's silly, but you have to see the umbrellas I just bought.

wasn't in the market for an umbrella, now I have to go shopping. Thanks -
What's the most miles any hyper-miler has squeezed out of a tank of gas? I'm asking because I'm currently sitting at 621.8 miles my new all time high and I've used 13.12 gallons. I'm packing my 2 gallon can obviously. But wondered if anyone has pushed it past 13.5?

Jus, I have my first set of nine GasPods which are black and held on with 3M super sticky gel tape. Would you like to give them a shot? I'm not using them, just laying in a drawer in my garage. LMK. -
All of my Christmas Lights have been LEDS for several years now, much better than the incandescent type of the past.

This is great news wab thanks for posting it. I have an AutoZone nearby, I'll stop by tomorrow and see what they might have?

well Laurel there maybe some merit to what you are saying, since I wear my flip flops religiously, every single day all summer long. I'll have to try wearing sneakers tomorrow and see if it makes a difference? Thanks for the suggestion. Stay tuned.

In my opinion switching the round knob setting on the lower left side of the dash for daylight running is a joke. They have little or no affect, at least on my car that is. They are too weak to be of any value for adding improved driver visibility to oncoming traffic. I fail to see how Ford could think my installing these lights could cause another system to fail and be grounds to void my warranty. Besides by putting on disc brake caliper covers over a year ago Ford could come back and say they caused my brakes to wear out faster or overheat my rotors which the manufacturer claims won't happen, they actually make the brakes run cooler and there's little or no brake dust. I'm going for it, besides I spent the $159 and they arrived today. One thing I did mess up on is the model of Hella DRL lights I ordered. They are meant to be mounted at a 30degree angle for proper light strength looking straight forward. In other words they were designed to be mount on a rounded portion of a front bumper, which of course there isn't on the CMax stock front bumper. So this is going to take some ingenious mounting fabrication to get them mounted at 30 degree's.

Yes I remember this happening on my 1971 Datsun 240Z. It had those vents too for bringing in outside air, when I had the blower running all kinds of stuff would blow inside and I could hear as small debris was blowing in through the fan. It was mostly stuff which had fallen into the louvered vents in the cowl at the base of the windshield like leaves, little sticks, dust or sand while driving and fell into the vents at the low pressure area at the base of the windshield. The vent was located behind the dashboard and sitting right on top of the transmission bump which put the vents about even with my right knee. Really wild early 70's design. Oh and sometimes rain would come in as well which wasn't good.

Wonder if the factory doesn't want owners breathing interior cabin air for long periods in case there are fumes being emitted from the vents in the back for the battery pack? Just a thought? ;)

I've used my household AC power plug on the end of the console to power my AC/DC inverter, didn't blow any fuse. I'll have to experiment with the factory pump. Never used it.

I've been noticing when I first turn on the A/C at a lower fan speed there is an unpleasant smell coming through the vents. I usually turn the fan to hi since it seems to dissipate quicker. Also if I have the fan running at high and suddenly turn the fan speed to 3 bars on the fan screen, the smell returns. Being an asthmatic I'm extremely sensitive to strong ordors which cause me to have an attack. Maxus hasn't always had this problem, it seems to have started in the last 6 months. I'm wondering if it is caused by a dirty in cabin filter? As far as I know it has never been changed in the year that I've owned the car, and I use my A/C allot. Just wondered if anyone else has noticed an unpleasant odor or fumes coming from the vents?

I was so focused on the big baby I didn't even notice the gray CMax until I watched it again. Very cool, thanks for sharing. Were getting good exposure but I did see a Pruis in there too
