Stupid Question -- How do you turn it off?
Jus-A-CMax replied to VirginiaRick's topic in General Discussion
No batt issue - turn off, just press the Off/On but I keep my foot off when I press to shutdown. I remember Laurel advising us to not press the brake about 3-4 months ago so I followed it. Now if she told me to jump off the cliff, thats a different story.... ;) -
+1 on the TSB 31-3-11 failure. Why bring out a patch if it does not work, thats at least 2 of us that its failed, or should I say "no difference".
-
Ha....thats like people in LA still sriving 15+ speed above the limits on road that are slick from the rare rain we get here in LA...and they wonder why they spin. One time on a on-ramp to the 14 freeway, this small SUV spun 360 right in front of me - luckily I was in no hurry. Silly woman, fools don't know the road and sometimes these people do get their license from a Kellogs Cornflake packet... :hysterical:

...and why all us hubby are broke ;)

C-MAX Hybrid Forum: How Can We Make This Site Better?
Jus-A-CMax replied to C-MAX Hybrid Guide's topic in Lounge: Off-Topic
Thats correct...in chrome, if u see a squiggly line under the word, just right mouse click on it and it will show u the alternative spelling. -
Well my TSB update for the NAV was a POS...it took me to the wrong direction and then decided to "give up". My partner who has a Fusion hybrid is also having similar "la la land" Nav issues and he's p*ssed. I dropped 2 calls to Galpin to my service manager and he's not returned my calls yet...I'll go bug him tomorrow or his manager. I want this 3.5.1 as I am getting sick of these Nav issues...I only have so much patience....
-
Ah...thats alright, my wife does that all the time so I sit in the corner with the chair and my Nexus....scheming away....what else can I pull on Adair.... :sing_rain: Happy Aprils Fools

Here we go.... http://www.nbcnews.com/business/states-highest-gas-prices-926390 Gasoline prices in California, as in New York, can be partially explained by high taxes. Californians pay as much in state taxes as New Yorkers, and more than residents of any of the other 48 states. The state’s excise tax rate, 36 cents per gallon, is the third highest in the nation. These taxes likely help offset any price benefits consumers might receive from having 16 operating refineries in the state, processing 1.96 million barrels of oil a day. Though the price of gas in the state has risen about 1.25 percent in the past month, this is a smaller increase than in all but 13 other states. I don't see any "greedy pockets at the refineries" mentioned here. It's NBCNews so don't  foul that its a right wing biased article. We are up there with Alaska, Hawaii but its funny that these "greedy pockets" don't operate in the other states...they must like the Hawaii and California real-estate much better than...especially San Francisco.... ;)

Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations....u're on your way... :) & :happy feet: &

I had one time where it went off kilter. its no 100%, same o'sh*t....driving in the houses. No noticeable difference in the speed at all.
-
I think that was the concensus after I searched this forum - no one here has the update yet. Galpin did not call back but I will follow up with them and I will raise hell with them about this. Not fair but I'll see how this TSB goes today. Oh the syncmyride is still a POS, that thing is dumber than dumb. I actually found the XML file that it generates and kept a copy of it.
-
Don't worry, I am suppose to be tech savy but I don't even preset or use Sirius...good ole USB

I just got back, Galpin installed the TSB update to fix the Nav (so far so good) but my MFT is still showing 3.1.3. I thought this was an upgrade to 3.5.1 - got a call to Galpin to see whats happening here.... Nuthin on the liftgate, its still a SSM advisory. Well, at least my car is shiny clean :) By the way, this syncmyride system checker thing sucks, so convoluted and it's on the website end and at the MFT end...never know whats happening, pretty sure its the same guy who wrote the interface, also wrote the MFT navigation...1 word: terrible. Hmmh...neighbors red Prius looks nice
-
Man, I have to get some armour all for the wheel...like those shiny tires. Yes...I am simple person who amuses easily at shiny things...zing away Adair and Rachel ;)
-
The latest builds seem fine, its only those who had early adoptions that are having MAJOR issues with the MFT Nav. Mine is in Galpin Ford right now for the TSB update and the liftgate issue as well and some interior paneling and a car wash...and ....*sigh*. I think I need a Prius.... :sing_rain:

Welcome...that stone interior looks nice....funny how the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence (i have the black finish)....congratulations and welcome to the forum :)

Added, thanks!

How does Fuelly show up on everyone's posts?
Jus-A-CMax replied to C-Maxgo's topic in General Discussion
On the bottom right side of the fuelly website (your account) there is a link: "View all badges and stuff you can share" and this will take you to the page where all you need to do is to copy and paste the code to the Signature section of this forum. Hope this helps... -
Thank you ladies, glad u enjoyed it. Yeah....since I shoot a ton of houses practically everyday, I might as well shoot some other goodies for sharing as well. Bookmark this thread, theres more pictures coming in the future, I see lots-0-stuff :)

I found this lil beauty on the road one day....it's a custom matt black paint Smart Car. Sometimes I ask myself why bother...wouldn't a skateboard be better? [/url] Taken in Camarillo off one of the farmlands...it was spectacular!!!! View of the San Fernando valley, taken from Encino Hills....how would you like to wake up to a view like this every morning? Thats it for now...more to come later...enjoy :)

Jus thought I would share some pictures taken whilst I am travelling around the "northern" part of SoCal. There are some spectacular and picturesque scenery as you will all agree. I've also thrown up some "oddity" pictures for your amusement. Candy for the eyes and some :) thrown in for free... This is Simi Valley taken from Box Canyon. As some older posters would know, I highly recommend Box Canyon as a run to take your CMax - its a fun, tight curvy all EV trip down... Ventura Beach. I do some beach houses there, some spectacular places and ocean scenery, worth a bit of money... More Ventura Beach... Yes, thats a quad level house on Las Flores Canyon, Malibu....looks like a castle from the distance. It really looks odd when you travel up this Canyon Rd....but hey, you're looking at a multi million house there. Malibu Beach, along the Pacific Coast Highway aka PCH. Spectacular beach scenery, wildly expensive real estate.... Malibu, PCH on left...

Let me see...can I get close to read it ;) Over here in CA, its 55 for trucks and RVs so people here are use to slow vehicles on the right. Fingers crossed, I had no issues yet but I neither travel slow or too fast - somewhere in between depending on my mood and where I am going and when I am getting there by. Hang in there fellas, worse come to worse don't do stupid stuff like 90mph, that stuff gets u killed or a dent in your wallet if u get radared - call 911 to get these fools off if u have to, or keep the number of the state HP on your phone.
-
Got problems with Chrome but I toyed with "Change Theme" and its working fine now. Board.2.0.3 seems to be fine with Chrome.

Yep, the CMax is very capable of delivering some NICE MPGs at speeds at > 65mph...with the battery high, the ICE High MPG will give you great > 40MPG numbers with the econ-cruise on. Thats a nice little secret that Ford buried that was unearthed. It also dependent on temps as well, throw in a nice tail wind...who knows. One thing though, ICE High MPG will always burn gas (it 100% ICE after all) but P&G will do a combo - its up to the driver to determine what it better and how fast you need to get to your destination. :)
