  1. Another option is a rear view mirror with camera capabilities.
  2. It's CD only. The previous generations used a DVD for navigation. I suspect when they went to SD cards for navigation they went back to CD players to save a few bucks.
  3. There has been some in the U.S. but they seem to be focusing on the hybrid Fusion.
  4. If it helps with perspective I paid $1280 for the top level Premium Care warranty at 6 year / 100k with a $100 deductible. He showed me the pricing book and said they would sell me the warranty for $200 over cost. Don't waste money on the maintenance plans. Also like Dorian said wait until your with the Finance guy. I said no two or three times before he offered the $200 over cost.
  5. This may be one option but it's not cheap at $500 for the module and you still need to buy the rearview camera at $100 to $200. http://navtv.com/product/207/myfordtouch-cam.html
  6. When you get your reduced gas bill each month from fewer trips to the pump the Camaro will be quickly forgotten. After one month my gas bill dropped about $100.
  7. Oh no! Hopefully the body shop squares it all away quickly and your back on the road soon. Welcome to the forum.
  8. You get three years of Sync with the MyFord Touch package otherwise I think its a six month trial.
  9. Ford just received assembly plant of the year for the innovative Michigan Auto Plant that builds our C-Max, the Focus (gas and electric) and the Fusion. Great job Ford! http://www.hybridcars.com/news/c-max-hybrid-and-focus-ev-built-best-54268.html
  10. Thanks for the replies it was bugging me, now I know it's normal ;-)
  11. I know it's bad form to post links to other forums but I wanted to share the electronic copy of the C-Max brochure and I'm quickly running down my storage space on this forum. http://www.blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/topic/50858-2013-c-max-hybrid-brochure/page__pid__798438#entry798438
  12. I seem to recall seeing somewhere that the perimeter alarm is standard but only on the SEL model.
  13. I'm doing the same thing. I've had Husky Liners in the past and have always been pleased.
  14. Stored on an SD card that resides in the SD card slot in the center console.
  15. Congrats! With gas approaching $5 a gallon in CA it's a great investment.
  16. I have a question regarding the finish on the ignition switch on the SE model. The igntion switch on my vehicle seems unfinished (see photo attached). There's an open space around the igntion that seems like it should have some kind of cover to finish it off. On our Taurus X there's a rubber collar that fills the space around the ignition switch and overlaps on to the plastics around the igntion. Can someone with an SE model C-Max please take a look at theirs to see if it's supposed to look this way. Thanks in advance.
  17. It's around $80 from multiple sources online. It sticks with 3M adhesive tape. It's strong stuff the one on my '06 Escape was on for 6 years and never came loose. It is wireless and has its own internal battery. Part # 7L2Z-14A626-BA
  18. Cargo area protector is part # DM5Z-6111600-AA All weather floor mats are part# DM5Z-5813300-AA There is no master part number for all the mats.
  19. You will not be disappointed, welcome to the C-Max family!
  20. My order was skewed because I ordered first week of August and one week later the dealer reconfigured one they had already ordered to match mine so that it would arrive faster. The one they reconfigured (second week of August) was built on Sept. 7 but is still sitting at the plant in Michigan waiting to ship for some unknown reason. Because of that my dealer let me switch out the one I was waiting for with one that he already recieved with similiar options. My understanding is expect two to three weeks for a VIN. The vehicle is built one to two weeks after the VIN is issued. Then assuming they ship it right away 2 to 3 weeks for shipping depending on how far from Michigan you live. I honestly think the better option is to look on Ford's website under Dealer Inventory and look at the vehicles the dealers in your area have already ordered (status will show "in stock" or "dealer ordered"). Once you find one with the options you like ask that specific dealer to hold that vehicle for you. I think the only reason I'd ever order a vehicle again is if I wanted some really unique configuration that I couldn't find anywhere within 100+ miles of my home. The wait and anticipation was killing me :)
  21. Now I understand. It sounds like what you're looking for is Ford's BLIS system (BLind spot Information System) which does cross traffic alert. Unfortunately it's not yet available on the C-Max. They might add it in the 2014 model year.
  22. I was disappointed that Ford decided not to added the privacy glass (tinted windows) to the rear windows as was done on my three previous Fords. Either way I decided to have them tinted and here are the results. I went with Suntek CXP 35% on fronts and 18% on the rears and back window. If you've tinted your C-Max lets see the pics and don't forget to mention what percentage tint you used.
