Tips for Renewing Sirius Radio Subcription

The "Sirius A La Carte" interests us, $7.99 for 50 channels that we like. BUT I suspect we don't have "Requires an A La Carte-capable Sirius radio - Sirius Starmate 8, Sirius Starmate 5, Sirius Stratus 6" OH WELL -

Laurel could you let us know how traumatic the master reset is? I did one shortly after we got the cmax, wasn't too bad, I didn't understand how/why it remembered the radio presets BUT couldn't remember where it  lived. For the past week I have to turn my phone off/on everytime I get in the car??? Thanks wab

Thank you. Finding who did it is probably not going to happen. I learned about stolen, damaged, etc vehicles a long time ago. The policeman was very apologetic, kind of leaned over and told me he had :30 minutes to spend on each stolen (motorcycle :rant2: ) vehicle. He then whispered that the paper work took him :35.

My nephew's wife ran over herself, almost killed her. Drug her down a hill, put her in the hospital for weeks, scalped her, broke her back and leg, etc., etc...BAD!

Philips xtreme vision vs crystal ultra vision

Sorry I popped a few bubbles. bigalpha, it wouldn't matter the projector would not be DOT approved, it has been done...LOTS of work and $'s We had NON dot HID's in our MKX for 3 and 1/2 years, never had any legal trouble. Passed 3 TX. state inspections, lots of miles traveled (at night) in Texas and Colorado only 1 problem. The non dot 55W capped bulbs in oem projector headlights were TOO BRIGHT, oncomming traffic flashed us ALOT! I'm planning on installing some 35W H11 5000 or 6000K HID's in the cmax in Jan or Feb :happy feet: . wab -

" I am mostly unimpressed with the sound quality" Like you we're not very interested in the music, plain'ol FM is better, HD FM MUCH. I wonder if they ever do any survey's about quality versus # of stations? Fewer stations would allow MORE band width for HIGHER quality stations. What stations do you get for $33? We're interested in news/weather/traffic/cnbc "at times" while we travel. -
+1 on what John and Arizona said. Or would that be +2

Here's the "For those who have had 12v Battery problems" POLL. http://fordcmaxhybridforum.com/topic/1294-for-those-who-have-had-12v-battery-problems/page-?mode=show 4 SEL's have voted, we're not one of them. wab

Try not saying "line one" just say ONE. I have ours set on advanced, that seemed to help. I also try to hesitate after she stops talking, SLOW processor. Example: pull the sync paddle "bong" I say "call"... "Don"... "home" or Paddle "bong" call ... home She responds with "Calling home at home"

We've had some pretty harsh criticism of CR in several threads, let this be a lesson to you. DO NOT mess with the holly word of :worship: CONsumer Reports. Take a look at the You Tube I posted on pg 1 post 14. "Ford C-max least reliable car in America (Says CR)" http://fordcmaxhybridforum.com/topic/3103-ford-c-max-least-reliable-car-in-america-says-cr/?hl=%22consumer+reports%22 wab

The last free trial lasted several days longer than the posted cut off date. We were not in our state if that makes a difference? -

I picked this supplier at random. From their FAQ. http://www.xenonheadlights.net/pages_contents/show/id/8#q11 Are these HID light systems street legal? Every jurisdiction has its own rules and regulations governing the use of automotive lighting. HID lighting systems that are supplied with the vehicles from the factory are DOT approved. NO HID conversion kit available from any source is DOT approved if installed outside of the factory. Moreover, in the U.S, this is not street legal for use on public roads. As a result, we officially endorse the kit for exhibition, shows and off-road use and will only sell the kit to be used for these purposes. We are not responsible for buyers who violate the terms of sale while in which they will assume all responsibilities for any unauthorized or unintended use other than exhibition or off-road use. wab -

Greetings and Welcome I'm on my phone so please excuse me for being short very basic. 1. Is your phone in the car? My first mistake. 2. Is your sync account up to date. Fords #? mistake. We used this cell #on our last car, sync reports that our # is being used by another car. IT IS not and I've told sync my ride... I need to call them. hope this isn't out of line and again welcome wab

Greeting and Welcome ChrisMax last visited the forum on Nov. 5, probably doesn't visit often. Maybe another member will be able to take your measurement. I don't know if a moderator will forward a message from you but it can't hurt to ask. PM (same tool bar your user ID is on) Jus-A-CMax or Adair and ask if they will forward your request to ChrisMax. wab

Take a look at these links. http://www.hidkitwarehouse.com/pages/installation http://www.amazon.com/Kensun-Conversion-Colors-Premium-Ballasts/dp/B004ZF3IT6/ref=au_pf_ss_13?ie=UTF8&Make=Ford%7C54&Model=C-Max%7C21616&Year=2013%7C2013&carId=001&n=15684181&s=automotive 6000K has just a hint of blue 5000K is going to be whiter The only wire harness we would need is the "HID Warning Canceler" $25.99 I THINK, everything else should be in the kit. I would hope that you could get them installed for 1 hr labor. Contact their installer in Jacksonville. Business: First Coast Diesel Performance Location: Jacksonville, FL EMAIL: Abrannan19@aol.com TELE: (904) 813-5067 Specialists: in installation of truck lighting and performance parts The instructions are pretty basic. Something like this. 1. Take the headlight out, if needed. we would. 2. Take the Halogen bulb out of the headlight. 3. Put the HID bulb in the headlight. 4. Mount the ballasts. looks like there is plenty of room on both sides. 5. Plug the connector's together, plug and play 6. Hook up the 12V and ground. EASY on the cmax 7. Test. 8. Reinstall headlights. Probably took me longer to type this and look up the links. wab -

Retro Solutions is a good co. I've used 2 of their kits. Send them an email about capping. sales@retro-solutions.com I copied this from their web site. "where bulb covers are not built into vehicle's lamps" Our bulb covers are built in. http://retro-solutions.net/product-info.php?Bulb_Capping-pid628.html I used a 50 watt system in our 08 MKX (projectors with capped bulbs) because of the "bulb out" problem. They were MUCH TOO BRIGHT, the bulb out problem has been solved. I copied this from their web site. http://retro-solutions.net/cmspage.php?page_id=12#4 scroll down to "Do I need a wiring harness? There are however a few exceptions to the rule, and these will generally be vehicle specific. Some vehicles with daytime running lamps, "auto" lamps, "bulb-out" indicators, and/or pulsed voltage systems (PWM) will need a harness or other add-ons to avoid problems with proper operation." One other thing to consider is Bulb Color. 5000K and 6000k are "white" colors 4300K and down will be yellow 8000K and up will be blue. go here http://retro-solutions.net/product-info.php?35W_DIGITAL_HID_BULBS-pid670.html and here http://retro-solutions.net/avactis-images/Bulbcolorlistdigital_0.jpg -
HhMm maybe I need to take/post a picture. We've had 3 500+ tanks in a row since :worship: 13B07 with at least 50 miles to empty, 2 with yellow warning, one with no warning was trying for a +600 but had to fill early. Pre 13B07 450 miles was pushing it, red gas warning, 10 miles to empty  . wab
