Cepwin, good for you. You'll love the car and that's a great color choice. Adair, I thought when I learned geography I could put a period at the end. After all geography shouldn't change unless there is an earthquake or some similar event, right? But somehow I don't remember studying Belarus and Mumbai?

Adair, you are really optimistic. If you haven't worked out the details ahead of time buying a new car at a dealer can be a long, grueling day. When I bought Ruby I had the car and price hammered out before I walked in and I was still there for 4 hours.

Rocco, many of the early adopters have problems with the Nav system but it appears the cars built after mid-February are fine. My car has a 2/20 build date and I have not had one problem with the Nav and at $1,200 with voice activation and the premium Sony audio I think it is well worth it. Now if we can only get the new GPS module and software updates for the early adopters all is well.

James, welcome! Lot's of good information about the car on this site.

okay, I went out and tested mine and it opens with one kick locked or unlocked. With that said it's not perfect. About 5% of the time it requires a 2nd kick.

Come on in pjurek99 and join the fun. Lots of good information here.

I did attend an extensive Air Force program to learn how to conform.

Okay, I would have missed the pronunciation too but looked it up and now I know. I actually 'lived' close to there for six weeks of my life.

Not me either but I looked it up and now I know. They say you learn something new everyday. :headscratch:

How do I turn off my DRL's?
lowbar replied to armoredsaint's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors & Wipers
DRL's could have a negative impact on a hybrid vehicle that already has issues with keeping a 12v battery charged. I like the fact the C-Max has an indicator light that makes it easy to see if the headlights are on or not. I usually keep my headlights on auto but if I want to override the system I manually turn them on. -
Spyburn, welcome to the C-Max world! There are a lot of interesting differences and new technology in these cars. This is a good place to learn about it.

Or your dealer has no idea what they are and they are tossing them out.

Colbie Caillat on the USB jukebox.

Aaah, if you look carefully it is a Start / Stop button.

One guy speculates, "SEL will most likely be gone for 2014 and replaced with a Titanium trim line." Sounds like a name change to me. 2012 Fusion had an SE and a SEL. In 2013 it's and SE and a Titanium.

The original question was about the X plan which is for large Ford vendors. You need a pin and proof of employment or retirement from the vendor.

I also have a Ford Fusion with Sirius. I let the subscription expire but they kept calling. I ended up renewing for $86 a year, about half price. I'm not sure I'll renew next year even at that price. I half about 3350 songs on a memory stick in both cars. That's quite a jukebox. I don't listen to Sirius often.

Sadly I can testify great front and rear crumple zones
lowbar replied to Hippie'sMom's topic in General Discussion
Hippie's Mom, So sorry to hear about your car. Fortunately you weren't in it. I truly hope the insurance company does right by you and we hear about you driving around in Hippie or Hippie II soon. -
Thanks, shows what I know. I would have been an unhappy camper if I would have put the Fusion spare in the C-Max for a trip and when I needed it, it didn't fit.
-
My MFT is rev 3.5.1 and I think it is one of the best features of the car. Then again, like BigRed, I have an IT / Engineering background.
-
I also have a 2012 Ford Fusion SEL. It has the exact same Michelin tires in the same size. The Fusion has donut spare that I am sure would fit.

Sorry, that's a gas tax, it's based on gallons bought. If it was a road use tax it would be based on miles driven.
