How much does that sucker weigh? :) Paul -
If you see another CMax, do you observe how they drive?
ptjones replied to Jus-A-CMax's topic in Lounge: Off-Topic
Prius drives aren't getting 50 mpg's driving like that, they'd be lucky to get 45mpg's. LOL I had a CMAX old lady driver stuck to my butt going down two lane road (55mph) and went racing off when I turned off the road.LOL I'm it gets better MPG's than her last car. LOL :) Paul -
I heard in Europe they don't change oil just add to it. Less environmental issues and cost I guess. :) Paul

I will have to get some help with that from my IT person. I was going to upload all my pics and resize them and then down them back to create more space. :) Paul

2014 tire Aero Dams available from FORD
ptjones replied to ptjones's topic in Accessories & Modifications
Did they use the 74-A and 75-A? I thought FordParts had both numbers.but I just checked and they don't have 75-A listed now. I put in 75-A and it came back with 74-A, but I have the bags they came in with the part #'s. There is something wrong with their info. :) Paul -
It isn't that big of a problem for me, you get use to it and make adjustments in the way you park. Now I really don't notice it anymore. I think the real problem is if you drive more than one car then you notice the difference. IMO :) Paul

I put the arms down when not in use or it only takes 5min. to put on or off. :) Paul

What do you mean no drafting allowed, part of the time you don't have a chose if you are on the FWY(traffic). So what it sounds like to me is I have to go 70-75mph to average 65mph and get 50mpg for 500miles and no drafting, right? That would take a 20-30mph tale wind to pole that off. As I said before with the aeromods I currently have I can get 47mpg at 70mph without drafting but that isn't an average 70mph. :drop: :shift: Paul

I wish, that's a good one. LOL I hate stooping until my tank is empty. (500mi) It would appear that this is my best effort so far, 61.6mph,48.2mpg, 646.1mi.,10:29hrs and 13.4gal. It will take idea conditions to get 65mph,50mpg and 500 miles which means you would have to be going 70mph most of the time to average 65mph. :) Paul

No and I just talk to my parts man and they still can't find them. :) Paul -
I will need to go back through my IPhone pics to divide time into miles driven. I don't know of anything else to do but aeromods and Hypermiling for improving HWY mileage. I think 65mph,50mpg and 500miles is doable. :) Paul

Lesson learned don't let your wife drive your car. LOL  :lol2: Sorry I couldn't help myself. You are right, the driver makes the biggest difference on gas mileage :) Paul.

Mike use the numbers in Post #40 they are not the same. You have got it, easy. They go straight across from the mud flap top so there is about an half inch tire clearance. :) I will Post Pics soon. Paul :) Paul -
Sounds like the CMAX is the only way to go. LOL :) Paul

Yes :) Today I drove to Smyrna and back today, about 45mi. and got 59.9mpg up and 53.3mpg back with the addition of front tire dams, spoiler between the two and partial rear wheel well covers. I used I-85 and I-285 with speed from 55-85mph a fair amount of drafting going up and not so much going back. Didn't use A/C, but did have front windows open about 3" with temps in the high 80's :shift: :happy feet: Paul. -
Mine has been every 10K and I've done 6 oil changes at Dealer. :) Paul

I have already gotten 38mph average with 909miles and 65.4MPG so we need to push the bar up a little higher. I will have to check my shorter distances but I'm pretty sure I've gone over 500mi, 65+mph and getting 47+MPG. I need to check my Iphone pics. I just went back few fullups and got 61.6mph,48.2mpg, 646.1mi.,10:29hrs and 13.4gal and I know I've done better than this, but It will some time to go thru 100+ fillups.LOL :) With current aeromods I think I'm at 47mpg at 70mph. If you want to feel a little better check your odometer with GPS you will find out you are going 1.015 miles farther and mpg improvement of .5 mpg better. :) Paul
