I would think the ICE ran the whole time. So the next trip you would get great mileage. :) Paul

Wait to put the can in the car until you are close to empty and you have your windows open so this shouldn't be a problem. You should be able to go at least 30mi. past empty from my experiences. BTW you will not run out going up hill, but you can going down hill. You still can EV if the ICE stops. Good Luck. :) Paul

Well lets see, 3 trips to CA, 4 to AZ, 2 to CO, 3 to FL and etc. I don't think I've seen much drop in Batt. Performance and my MPG's are at least as good as last years. I almost never have a completely charged HVB. I have some aeromods I'm putting on MADMAX to get a little more mpg's toward my goal of 1Kmi. on a tank. I need about a 7% improvement to make it. :) Paul

Number one it is bigger, more head room , storage space in the back and better gas mileage. Doesn't look like everything else .Try to get the XPlan with MCA, EAA or a number other organizations. :) Paul

I think it wouldn't be to much longer when our current size battery will be able to go 10mi.from the information I have been reading. IMO :) Paul

What made you choose the dealership you did?
ptjones replied to CarpeNivem's topic in Buying, Order and Leasing
Local Dealer and got the XPlan with MCA, but they aren't a Electric Dealer yet. I have to go 25mi for that. ;) Paul -
One's imagination could run wild with this scenario, neighbor playing tricks on you or High School/College kids playing around with transmitters ect. :sos: :rant2: :gaah: This is scarey stuff. Paul

So far so good at 64Kmi. :) Paul

I thought we researched this already and 2014 CMAX is the same as 2013 other than aero enhancements. My Dealer just got an allocation for their first 2014 CMAX and he's wondering why he would want one now when the 2015's will be out in few months. It kinda looks like only Electric Dealers got the 2014's. ;) Paul

Sure makes you wonder with two different cars having the same problem. I would want to make sure it wasn't something a was doing. The only time I had the battery go dead was when I left the car on. The keyless thing. :) Paul

2014 tire Aero Dams available from FORD
ptjones replied to ptjones's topic in Accessories & Modifications
Here are the numbers off the bags. DM5Z-16B075-A, DM5Z-16B074-A :) Paul -
What I meant to say was the adhesive won't stick to the ICE under cover because it doesn't have a smooth surface. :) Paul

I just checked too. -
The problem is the adhesive won't stick as good as the Velcro, I would rather have Velcro brake lose. :) Paul

I would find one with ICE heater if I could. IMO it's going to be a big job to install one after the car is made. :) Paul

I only suggest blocking top grill in winter, center one all the time, it is better to have smooth surface over center grill from aero stand point and bottom cover I leave on unless I have some serious mountain climbing to do. Oil pan and block heaters make a big difference during winter time and help during summer. Remember CMAX won't go into EV until the WT reaches 128*F, not much of a problem in AZ during the Summer. LOL :) Paul

Here is a link to article on % of parts made in US for cars sold in US. http://wallstcheatsheet.com/stocks/10-most-american-made-vehicles-for-2014.html/?a=viewall Transmission is made in the US and ICE in Mexico :) Paul

My nest step is to run a hard foam piece between the two air dams with Velcro if I can. That way If it pulls off I can just stick it back on. We will see how that goes. :) Paul

I would think the FE would always be better at 72*F than 20*F and 72*F, 95*F similar depending on the use of A/C? :) Paul

That's Great, your Fuelly is embarrassing. LOL Did you install center Grill Cover yet? It is worth at least 1mpg on the HWY. Need to use oil pan heater next winter so you can keep from digging such a deep hole to climb out of during the Summer. :) Paul
