Brother Jus, problem solved, apparently my payment to PayPal didn't process. So I re enrolled and this time it took and I got a receipt in my mailbox

just got a very favorable message from C-MaxSea and I really appreciate the comments. Euro headlights ;) not sure about that unless it can be just a replacement for the factory bulb. don't want any modification to the housing or wiring. LOL about the racing stripes comment so far it hasn't caused me to speed, I certainly don't want to be permanently stuck in the 30's range. I'd like to stay no lower than 44.5 where I am right now but it keeps falling with every start from a stop. Was up to 63 after doing a fuel reset but has fallen back down to the low 40's

tried that brother Jus I sent a inquiry and Robert Lane said he fixed it but so far I'm not seeing an change. When I went down to the lower corner it only showed board and mobile nothing about platinum

Love them and really keeps the dust from showing on my blacked out wheels. Plus it fits into my other black/red trim color enhancements

Please help identify if this Cmax has the Sony system
mtb9153 replied to ronnnald's topic in General Discussion
Yes it is a safe bet that if it is a SEL model with the premium sound system listed on the window sticker...it is a Sony System. But the name Sony under the volume control on the dash is a dead giveaway :spend: -
Hey CMax Golfers - stash your precious loot here...
mtb9153 replied to Jus-A-CMax's topic in Interior
Guess I'll have to take up golfing again  -
Wanted to share my latest attempt at personalizing Maxus. I added Grand Sport Corvette style stripes to the front fenders using faux carbon fiber vinyl sheeting. Looks pretty good I think. I also added it to the B Pillar between the front and rear doors. Also the back of the rear door. Was tired of that glossy black plastic which scratched over the last two years. I also applied this vinyl on the front grille below the grille opening. Take a look...

Aftermarket Wheels - On the Horns of a Dilemma
mtb9153 replied to Hedgeley's topic in Wheels & Tires
If money not an issue? I'd go with the Anthracite. Would look great with the Platinum White. I have the same color CMax but can't afford BBS. Either way it is going to look awesome.- 11 replies

nice talking with you have a great week. :salute:

Kelleytoons, glad you were able to get someone to inquire about your Maximis or be interested enough to talk with you. Around here CMaxes are all over the roadways, I see more than Prius lately. I can't get anyone to talk with me or at least give a thumbs up when I gesture to them in passing. People I guess just see it as a way to get around economically. It's just a car the wife tells me.

Yup MomsHugs I'm a tweaker always looking for ways to spice up the looks of Maxus without hopefully spending a bundle of $$$. The thing which really makes this cover the best is that there is no more glare from the dashboard off the glass in the evenings as the sun gets lower.

Yah would have been nice to hit my second 600mile tank but oh well...next time

Very nice I sure wish we could drive without the front license plate, it just looks so much cleaner

Owners who added body trim -- happy?
mtb9153 replied to Kelleytoons's topic in Accessories & Modifications
Well that might be true especially in severe heat zones like the deep south. I hadn't considered that point since it is not a concern for me here on the west coast. As for residue it can be removed with 3M adhesive remover or goop off or what ever that stuff is called. I've used both extensively with excellent results using a soft cloth -
Paul the reason I refueled when I did was I was getting a free fill up from my Mom who I was driving around town allot the last few days. So she just wanted to repay me for shuttling her around town on earends Such a nice Mom :)

Removal of the moldings isn't a big deal. I've worked enough with the 3M adhesive strips which came with them on the backside to know that simply applying a hair dryer or heat gun over the length of the moldings, will allow them to soften the adhesive so they can be removed. Not much different than debadging the factory logo's. Mounted with the same stuff -

Matter of preference I guess, I think the molding has enhanced the looks of Maxus. I've taken hits on all four corners mostly brought on by my own driving errors. If this will help keep the sides straight? Then it was worth it. -
I almost got another 600mile tank today but ended up short at 581.0miles of which 354.0 were electric miles. The best Maxus has done in 6 or more tanks, brought my fuelly.com back up to 44.8mpg which really makes me happy.

Thunderstorm! What's that? It doesn't rain in California anymore...God forbid we have a second straight winter with little or no rain.
