  1. Great thread guys! I am pinning this thread since its got some nice wall papers for those with CMaxs to use :)
  2. You can't let that prick your nerve each time. You gotta recognize some want to vent here.. if u want to reply, do it smarty & with humor.
  3. Electric car owner charged with stealing 5 cents worth of juice All your Energi watch out...
  4. *sigh* back after sometime, and its the same ole cr*p.... C'mon the V is a lovely car....4 out of 10 Priis I drive by in my putt-putt-splutter-splutter Matrix is a new V....that says something about these owners. Toyota make good cars and support a good economy that makes great Walkmans. :twister: Read it anyway u want...but make sure u :stirpot: it... Well said Frank, thanks.
  5. Great advice DrDiesel... ;) Nice to see ya around
  6. ZERO for me....oh wait...let me count...oh no CMax...sorry...wrong post... :drop:
  7. Ooh...that has the mass or more of a Big Red.
  8. You need to import some Roo bars for the CMax. There goes the MPG. When I was back home, I never hit a roo but its gotta be worse than a deer given that roos leap into the air and you clip'em mid flight...ouch. However, I know a few mates who work and travel around the bush and its the worse and most common damage to the cars in the outback. Speaking of which, I need to call'em up for this Christmas.... Thank goodness there are no deers/roos around Los Angeles..
  9. This posting is dedicated for Father Bill aka FrBill aka "I know I want my CMax back"....thanks mate... Merry Christmas :) PS This is Acapella- all the music is done human, no instrument or digitizing. Amazing.
  10. I still do not have my Maxine back. ETA is mid December, I'll swap back my Adam Scott avatar when shes back. That's over 6 weeks. Its ridiculous. I am not 100% yet but much better and I still have a tingling sensation in my thumb and forefinger which my physician said is extremely bad given the location so I am continuing to work with her to get back to 100%. Mobility wise, I feel good. You look at me, I look good but it hides the pain. Hopefully, nothing else is coming out and its been an interesting journey. Sorry I have not been posting much since I have not been in the mood so I am limiting my posting. Today I jus wanted to thank everyone whos helped me....you cannot believe how much that helps in the recovery.Cheers and have a great long weekend :) PS Most of you know I enjoy my golf and I have not played, it is unbelievably frustrating not to swing my club. However, it gives me more than JOY to see my icon Adam Scott win the 3 of 3 tournaments downunder to date: Won the Australiam PGA & Australian Master and also helped Jason Day (who lost 8 relatives in the Typhoon that hit the Phillipines) win the World Cup of Golf for Australia as well. He's now leading the Australian Open (set a record 62 in the 1st round) against McIlroy and others. Could be a rare clean sweep....Go Adam!
  11. Happy Thanksgiving everyone and thank you for all your kind messages and prayers. God bless and stay safe.
  12. Yep, I plan to pursue this thru my attorney as well. If only I had a car. *sigh*.
  13. Glad you're ok there Shelley - hope nothing else comes out of it. $900 is cheap but better the car than you. All these few weeks I am thinking jus a split second of concentration would have prevented all these rear enders but NO. There are idiots on the roads and here as well. Stay away from all of 'em. Main thing you're OK!!!!
  14. What's this... tis a season for dinging up the CMaxs? Glad you're ok Paul, slight tense is better than a full blown whiplash as far as I can tell although the damage to the Cmax is pure crap. However, I am amazed your front end is about 1/2 the incurred damage compared to my rear ender. This week be thankful all of us still have our limbs and can walk, everything can go at a click of the fingers, thats for sure.
  15. ...darn zhackwyatt, I should have pressure checked that guy's tire who hit ;)
  16. Macgyver - congratz on your 100th posting :) Yep, I think so. We have people here making shelf edging for the glovebox and this sounds good.
  17. I have seen an accident practically everyday on the roads I have driven - day and night. There are A LOT of cars out there because of the cheaper gas and not too many are paying attention and BRAKING LATE. Its bad out there, and this is LA.... As I was rear ended and pushed to the front car, I better check my AC as well - but they pulled it the front bumper apart and apparently I have no damage up front. Go figure....
  18. Big Rocco...trust me when I say jus enjoy the car, don't sweat the lifetime MPG. It is what it is...and if u get the MPG boost so be it, consider it a fine bottle of vino from the MPG God's :)
  19. Car, what car? Still in the shop.... :arrive_alive: Congratz Matt - fine job with the aero mods on the car and THAT IS HELL OF A LOT OF MILES - you and Paul...its not even in the KBB book to price the CMax at those miles. I tried with my mortal 21K and it would not take. Ain't possible says kbb...unless I had a bad site. Be interesting to see how your MPG maintains in the cold weather in the long run. Especially when it gets really, really cold.
  20. :needphotos: :needphotos: ....of the CMax, not catsailor...get yer dirty minds out of the gutter, the lot of yer.... If your temps are below and probably so because of the cold front moving thru, just wait it out...its not apples to apples especially over an entire tank with a drop in temps. Also, can you do specific set routes like what I did and do the baselines that way?
  21. Not rounding, truncating. I wish Ford has been consistent with the use of 2 decimal points on every gas used reading, but oh noes....
  22. pg13 - the liftgate is not suppose to open if you're too close ala get hit. Are u sure its functioning correctly as I LUV the kick liftgate now and never been smacked, mind you I am 5'9 though....sorry to your wifey too.
  23. Great pictures Matt, thank you -true craftsmanship there, if you ever plan to come down to SoCal, give me a tingle.... :) C'mon Fr.Bill...don't you wish a slight inkling for a C-Max now...jus a wee bit....
