I agree very annoying, and then when the belt is not in the guide, the belt rattles against the door.

I don't have the sunroof, but I tinted all the glass on the car, including the front windshield. Front windshield is clear of course, but it still blocks infrared heat. I never heard of a warning about not tinting the sunroof for the c-max, but I'm not 100% positive on that. I bought it at Chapman Ford (used to be Five Star Ford). I special ordered it though.

Are you sure you had your foot fully pressed on the brake when you pushed the button?
-
Hello neighbor! I would suggest tinting it with a good quality tint.

Thanks! Now I have to change my password to something different since you showed the world. ;)

That's because you searched for c-max and visited c-max websites. The ads are tracking you.

MFT with USB jump drive indexing problem solved
zhackwyatt replied to valkraider's topic in Audio, MyFord, Navigation & SYNC
Windows Media Player (what I use) works this way naturally when you sync a usb device.. -
I saw this and I couldn't get mine to work. When I go to enter in the password for the wifi, only 2 keys are available to me to press, t and c if i remember correctly. The others were grayed out.

Favourite/favorite MFT voice commands

I'm assuming you couldn't just say nearby, when it asked you where to search? I think you can say (although i would have to test) "find a mall nearby". Something else, for when your ready, "voice settings" pause "interaction mode advanced". She'll basically talk less. Instead of "say a command" after you hit the button, you'll just hear the ding. -
No tranny fluid to change (supposedly) and no changing fuel filters either. Although it looks like you have to take half the engine apart to change the air fliter.

Darnit, SafeLite calls it a mini-van. I did NOT buy a mini-van! So I get: Windshield rain sensor, solar, with third visor band, soundproofing green tint: 378.95 Windshield solar, with third visor band, soundproofing green tint: 629.95 I wonder if the website has them backwards?

Usually the stipulation is that a driver has to be in the driver seat and can take control of the vehicle at any time.
-
Of course! I should have known. Thanks.

Favourite/favorite MFT voice commands

While playing songs off of USB (probably works for Sirius and HD Radio) you can say "What's playing?" A little more natural is "find a mall", or "find a restaurant", instead of destination ... "Help", "What can I say", "Voice instructions" for tutorial info. "List to text message" and "My team's schedule" -
I would reckon a guess that it at least uses the brakes less than a standard car due to the regen. Brake pads probably don't have to be changed as often.
-
I wonder too, I'm guessing a pretty penny due to the auto wipers sensor.
-
Do you say that because if you need to use A/C then you are in a hot environment so need the extra cooling, or do you say that because having the A/C running generates more heat under the hood?

I used to drive an Explorer, but the 16mpg was killing me financially. So i wanted a more fuel efficient car, but I still wanted the space. I still have the explorer and I may or may not get rid of it. I'm just glad I have the freedom to choose whatever I want.

Is your C-Max asking you to take it in for service? Depending on how its driven, it can last until 10,000 miles before needing service.

If you press lock on the keyfob twice, it will chirp once when the doors are shut and locked, and twice if one is open.
-
The screen says performing scheduled maintenance. So it wouldn't surprise me if everyone gets this eventually because there is a schedule :). Although MFT will sometimes also reboot if it detects a problem.

Instead of comparing My Ford Touch/Sync to an iPhone, what about comparing it to these types of systems in cars, first.

May I suggest not to correct for GPS since, not everyone will do that, and then we won't be able to compare apples to apples.
