Thanks so much for the response Samsrz2!!! It's too cool for mine to act up too. Maybe Tuesday....supposed to be in the 80s here. I'll keep my fingers crossed that yours holds! I'm meeting w/Ford engineers on Tuesday. -

Catsailor, we have the same connection to Ford that everyone else on the Forum has............we own one of their cars. :victory: On Facebook, Eric at Ford will sometimes respond to a direct question or message. We can all ask there and maybe get a response. I've not seen anyone who identified themselves as being from Ford reply to any topic here.......not dead battery, not mileage issues, not my SYNC problem. If they are here, they are silent. -

Have you signed any sale/loan/agreement papers of any kind? W/O that, I doubt they would let you take the car, because legally it's not yours yet. I truly understand your frustration! I asked the same question, once I knew my car had been built.......and I only live 40 miles away! I said I would gladly, cheerfully, happily, go pick it up.......the dealer said no. I doubt the dealer is going to let you sign ANYTHING until the car is on their lot and they've had a chance to look it over, however cursorily that is. Too much liability at stake. Make a call on Monday and see if they can give you any closer date of arrival. Just my $.02

when my SYNC locks up, in case anyone is interested. Thanks to JAZ :salute: for finding this video. It could be helpful Tuesday at the meeting with the team of engineers, since the weather has taken a cool turn, and my car may not *perform* for them.

Well, I thought I'd make a second entry on this tank, but the dealership ran the car a ton, running the heater, trying to warm things up sufficiently inside to be able to recreate the problem.......it's just not that hot here this week to trigger it..... :spend:........sooooooooooooo ............. that blew my shot at a 2nd 600 mile tank. < :gaah:<<big sigh>>>> maybe next time.

Well, my Aliens had to have SOMEWHERE to go! :noobie: They don't like it at the dealership. No fun just sitting in the parking lot there. :jump_earth: But, no worries! I'm reclaiming Jelly tonight, so my Aliens can come home, :bliss: at least until Tuesday. :twister:

Well, Galpin has shown themselves to be exceptional in lots of ways.....here's another one. I know....you are in SoCal, others are in AZ and FL......none of you guys with this SYNC problem. I know you will be there in spirit Jus, as will others from this family/forum. I'm so grateful for all of you.

In response to the email I sent last night, a woman from FoMoCo executive offices call me about 2:30 this afternoon. She wanted to know if I would be available to meet with the some engineers at my dealership next Tuesday at 2pm. Apparently they had already talked to my SA and had seen some of the emails I sent him. After confirming that I could leave work for this, I asked her what was supposed to happen. She said, "Well, I think they want to run it to duplicate the problem. But from your emails, I don't think that's the right approach." Thankfully someone was reading! I said, NO, in 99% of the times this has happened, the car has been sitting from 4 to 8 hours in the parking lot at my office, baking in the sun. So we can only hope the temperatures cooperate next Tuesday. Who want's to come with me???? j/k

Hey, thanks CeeMax71!! I forwarded it on to my 3 techs and salesman at Briarwood. I sorta remember reading about the fuse issue. I have not gotten those error messages tho....Screen looks just fine. You can even see the audio volume control going up.......just no sound from anything. Maybe this will point them in another direction. I wish they would replace the ACM and be done with it. I want my car back!

Wow, thanks Plus 3! I'm going to print this off and have it by the phone when she calls me back! I did call this morning and left a message. Haven't heard back yet. Yes, the car is in the shop and has been since Monday. After the 20 hr lock up episode I sent daily emails for 2 weeks to 3 people at the dealership.....2 in service and my salesman. They finally called me last week and told me to take out the NAV card.....which I did, and did a master reset. The same afternoon, SYNC cailed again. On Monday they called and told me to bring it in that afternoon.......and there is sits. I did read up on the Michigan Lemon Law yesterday but haven't contacted any attorneys. I would hope to resolve this without going to that expense......At this point the only way I would do a trade in would be to get exactly what I've got, minus the SYNC problem of course. I'm not going to downgrade Now, back to work on my timeline...
