Ok, sun time is done, apple sauce is done, and so are the total miles..............except for Doug (fotomoto) whose entry was from Fuelly, so I don't know what his miles were at that point.

Welcome Stephen, and congratulations!! Just curious, what, if any, history do you know about your car? If you haven't been to the Ford Etis site above that would tell you what updates are needed.

Ok, I was right......part of the update took and part didn't. That explains why my MPGs have been steadily creeping up this tank. I hope they didn't undo that when they redid it today. I've only driven about 10 miles since then, and none on the highway. BUT, the regen miles are gone and EV+ locations gone. I did not have to re SYNC the phone, however.

Welcome ChuckJr! Glad, (but not in the least surprised0 to hear that you're lovin' your new car! I'm sure my husband would sympathize with you. Even tho the C-MAX is MY car, he only gets to drive when we go on trips longer than 2 hours and I let him drive for a bit. If you just found us, there is a ton of great information here on just about any C-MAX/fuel economy topic you can think of. But if there is something you can't find an answer to, don't hesitate to ask.

There is another thread here about someone's car that went forward when in reverse or vice versa. Wonder if this is similar? I'll try to find it at lunch.

Our house is about 80 years old, and has had the same address for the 25 years we've lived in it, but most GPS systems, even Garmin, put our address at our neighbors house. And the A4 card didn't change anything about our trip to Indy....it still lost us on US 24 in Ohio.

YAYAYAYAY!!! Samszr2!!! I have been hoping to hear from you on here! I had my ACM replaced last week and picked the car up on Friday. It's been very cool, cloudy, rainy since then. Of course, no problems. Tomorrow and Friday are supposed to be warmer. I confess to holding my breath each time I start the car in the afternoons. So far, so good. I can report back more the first of next week. I hope for all of us who have had this problem that this is the solution. Thanks so much for posting!!

Thanks for the vote of confidence Jus.....but that's a big *if* This tank is at 47.1 so far with 290 miles on it, but there is no highway at all......just surface streets back and forth to work. We'll see how it all plays out.

Welcome Mike! I'm so glad you found our little forum helpful in making your decision. We have such a broad knowledge base here that it's easy to find answers to a lot of questions before you have to ask them. It's great (but not surprising) to hear that your first impressions are good. I did the 3.6 upgrade today too, and was pleasantly surprised by some of the early features I've discovered. Please contribute as much as you have the time and inclination for. And don't hesitate to ask any questions that you haven't already uncovered.

I emailed the dealership yesterday with the news and heard back last night. I'm taking the car in Friday afternoon and waiting while the update is performed again. However, I still wonder if part of it might have worked the first time. I noticed on the way home from the dealership (7 miles) on Thursday that it went into EV easier and stayed longer than before, but I eventually chalked that up to wishful thinking. On Friday I got my highest mpg ever on the ride home......the same exact trip, route, speed that I've taken M-F since I got the car. My previous high was 55, I think. Friday it was 60mpg! I didn't get a picture tho, so in forum land, it didn't happen. BUT, yesterday, same trip, same time of day, I got 61.3 mpg, and this time I have proof 61.3 by JellyBean439, on Flickr I have no explanation for the 6.3 mpg increase from 1 week to the next other than partially successful updating.

I guess I would be more concerned, Laurel, if others hadn't had the same issue with their dealerships. It sure seems that not all of the technicians got enough training on all of this, tho.

Wow, 3 *thats* in that sentence. That's gotta be a record!
