I just spent 10 minutes going back and forth to the garage to see what I could see with our car and comparing to yours. Overall our dash fit seems pretty symmetrical. I would say on the passenger side the gap is perhaps 1/8 of an inch larger. Nothing looks wonky though. I couldn't tell what you are demonstrating with your first photo.

Interesting as I have never seen that done before. We live in a rain forest so no need LOL.

Good to see you back Scooter! Just now watching the news and gas here just went up 7 cents a liter today, and they are predicting it will keep creeping up through the Spring. I think it will get back to the $1.50 liter range before summer hits. Your mileage is great.

Our C-Max suspension seems very good as we comment how it doesn't jar us going over bumps. My husband has a big Lexus SUV and we have commented that the C-Max is more comfy going over the bumps than the Lexus. But then again my C-Max has been a gem in every way so far. My Tip is a keeper for sure.

Would like: Lights on the gear shifter console to indicate which gear you have selected. More storage for things in the driver's area. Something to keep mud from being thrown up on the back of the car. Better visors--telescoping and more moveable. Automatic seat adjustment for front passenger. Adaptive cruise control. Heated steering wheel.

Rachel he is supposed to get it Saturday. I wonder if they are giving him yours?<g>.

What would they charge for the mileage? That seems a bit tacky considering the issues.

That makes me feel better. Thanks. I ordered online and I'm not sure if they come UPS or just in the mail--couldn't see where they said how it was delivered. So may have them next week. The little rubber ones the dealer threw in don't protect much.

We bought the Ford Extended Service Plan. I think we bought it because we were brain dead after sitting in the manager's office going through everything for two hours on the day we picked up our C-Max. The rationale they gave for getting it seemed very reasonable at the time <g>.

Thanks Val! I just read your post to my husband and he was very interested and said to thank you for him. I think he had the same troubles as you.

My husband bought a dual port USB vehicle charger to plug into one of the 12 volt outlets to charge his Ipad, Iphone etc. Works well he says. It is called Rocketfish Mobile and was about $30 at Future Shop. 5 V, 3.1 Amps total output.
