  1. I have 74k miles on my OEM Michelin's and I'm getting 5/32 for outside and center, 4.5/32 inside for rears. 4.5/32 for outside and center, 4/32 for inside for front tires. I use and recommend 50 psi for OEM tires to get the best wear.I got 64k on first two sets of Michelin's on my car. If original tires they are atleast 5 years old and also road surface conditions effect wear. :) Paul
  2. It is very possible the FEH will be out later this year and Plugin next year. Paul
  3. We know there is going to be a Escape Hybrid and Plugin in the near future (2019-20), I'm unaware of any other FORD EV vehicles seen yet. Paul
  4. I'm wondering if he is referring to 50 aspec ratio and maybe going to 60 series tires will give softer ride. I think in the long run the Michelin's maybe cheaper than Altimax with fuel savings and long lasting tread. I have 73k miles on mine and will easily hit 80k miles and maybe 90k mi. :) Paul
  5. I believe the current Hybrid system is of FORD's design. :) Paul
  6. Well we went up again. :yahoo: Only .2 mpg to 50 mpg average. You Tube video views upto almost 7k now. :) Paul
  7. Yes I'm taking a iphone pic each time I fill up, but have been to lazy to add it up. :) Paul
  8. Well we went up again. :yahoo: Only .2 mpg to 50 mpg average. Paul
  9. Are you sure it isn't the license plate? :headscratch: Paul
  10. At that amount I would keep it till the wheels fall off. :) Talking about cheap transportation, I don't think it gets any better than this. :) Paul
  11. I also agree AZgman :) , I have long legs and I drive with them straight out, raising the seat will extend the length for your legs. Paul
  12. You will easily make it if you don't get scared to run the tank down to E0, you will have atleast 20 miles past that to go. Remember your tank holds 13.9 gal. useable, Smart Gauge tank is off, but you are safe to go to 13 gal used without running out. My guess is if you ran it dry you could go to 650 mi. anyways. :) With the warm temps 80 - 90*F I have 300 miles on current tank with 62.3 mpg average so I think I will be close to 800 mi. on this tank. I think you are in good shape to make it, Good Luck. BTW I do use Premium 93 Wonder what kind of trade you are going to get with 240K mi. on it. I have 195k miles. Paul
  13. go to Post #4 and take care of it. :) Paul
  14. Total miles is 250K miles? I didn't think you had that many miles. :headscratch: Paul
  15. Watch my YouTube videos : http://fordcmaxhybridforum.com/topic/6568-how-to-drive-a-cmax-hybridffh-to-get-great-gas-mileage/page-1 to get up to speed on how to drive your New CMAX. :) What is your Wife getting for MPG's on her Prius V? Paul
  16. No, I heard they collaborated on newest designs. https://social.ford.com/en_US/story/sustainability/hybrid-technology/breaking-news-ford-and-toyota-team-on-hybrid-system.html Paul
  17. IIRC CMAX has a larger battery, two electric motors with 60 hp total and different software. Prius can't do it because HVB is smaller and isn't charged as fast as CMAX Hybrid HVB can. Prius ICE is 1.8 L 98hp vs CMAX's 2L 144hp. Then the Prius electric motor (36hp) can't accelerate above 15 - 20 mph or maintain speed at 40+ mph like the CMAX can with top speed of 85mph. :) BTW I occasionally drive my Daughter 2011 Prius. Paul
  18. The CMAX Hybrid system is different than Prius which is designed to assist the ICE where the CMAX is designed to run in EV for good distances like 1/4 mi. to 2 mi. at a time. :) Paul
  19. Went to see Ceramic Expo at Cleveland International Exposition Center on Wednesday and it was Hotter there (84*F) than it was in Atlanta (80*F). :drop: Quick trip, up one day and back the next, 12.5 hrs. each way, 2 tanks 26 gal., 1425.6 mi./ 54.8 mpg average. :) Paul
  20. Made trip to Cleveland, OH and had a tall wind on I-75/I-71 and got 60.4 miles/ 551.7 miles on Smart Gauge. You Tube views upto 7211. :) This is FUN! :yahoo: Paul
  21. I just checked My LifeTime Score and my EV is maxed out at 99,999 miles. :drop: With 195,068 mi. total. I guess I need to reset Life Time Score. :headscratch: Paul
  22. I can't remember anyone replacing a HVB on this forum. I'm close to 195k mi. :) Paul
  23. I did it myself, connected jumper battery under the hood, then removed old 12v batt. and put new one in, really easy. :) Paul
  24. We have seen actual FEH Mules on the road being tested. :) Paul
