  9. Smiling Jack, The recommendation I shared comes from engineering. You are welcome to choose another oil outside of the Ford recommendation, but if there is any damage or wear as a result, it may not be covered under warranty. Ashley
  10. Hi everyone, I have confirmation that you should use 5W-20 for the 2013. For 2014, 0W-20 is recommended, but you can still use 5W-20 if you'd like. Ashley

    C-Max "SL"

    Hi everyone, This is really interesting, indeed. I checked with a couple people and we've never built an SL C-Max of any kind. I'm not sure how the badge ended up there. rfaunce, have you asked your dealer about this? You may be able to trace the car back to a previous owner and figure out where the "SL" came from. Ashley
