Just saw a review of the new Fusion and Ford is now using a rotary dial for the shifter. It is in the same place as our shifter but this knob is about 1" high. Maybe 2" diameter. Maybe this will spread to other models?

That is what I do. Trip 1 is FE and Trip 2 is oil change. Don't take pics much but I do log on Fuely. I will have to look at Trip 2 again.

I had the same fast blink for the right turn signal. It would blink fast a few times and then slow down and then fast again. I checked the lights and found the right front bulb was out. I have not changed it yet and it has been a few weeks. Today for the first time the right turn signal is back to normal speed for both sides. I did not check the lights yet after this recent change. Thinking it is some kind of connection issue. I did not look for codes but that is a good tip.

Mine is an SE so I just have the key with buttons but I had issues with just my key. My other half key worked fine. Changed the battery (only about 4 months old at the time) and it has been good since. Maybe something to try. Do both key fobs behave the same way?

Good to see that they are changing this up somewhat with new option packages. Could help sales. Will an SE Energy be lower price now?

For some reason Ford is not putting much engineering effort into this car. There have been almost no changes to the C-Max. Maybe it is a cost thing? Maybe it is because they have the engineering team focused on the replacement "Designed from the ground up" car? I think the next gen is due in 2018 which is not that far away. Now is this going to be a C-Max or something else remains to be seen. I am hoping that they keep a taller model like the C-Max now. I have noticed that online posts talking about hybrids don't say much about the C-Max any more. I just saw a post for someone in a Prius stating she wanted a replacement and wanted to know what to look at. No C-Max in the list. Of course this is just an opinion but the C-Max just seems to be old news. Too bad because I still think it is a great car. 70 MPG on my 10 mile route to work this morning. :wub2:

No complaints here. I like the seats in my SE. I think seats like many things are very subjective to the user. Some will like them one way and others will not. Having more adjustable helps a lot to make it work for more people. I had a full size van and many thought the seats were great. It was like sitting on a couch in your living room. I hated those seats. I like a firm seat. As others have said maybe a piece of foam that can be cut to shape of what works for you. Once you find the shape then cover it with fabric. We have a local foam shop that has all kinds of foam. They will cover it for you too. Maybe you have a foam store near you? On my couch I always have a pillow behind my back. This helps me as I have some lower back issues too. So far I have not had to do this in the Max.

How does this compare to other vehicles? I have not looked at the site or list but is there an avg life for a transmission? $4k is a lot of money for a trans but i have heard of replacement cost up to $7k before for other vehicles. I know there was a heat issue with the trans. Are the later year models running cooler?
