I would think some rubbing alcohol would take if off. If not, trace over it w/ a Dry Erase marker and it would come right off. No need to pay a professional detalier.

Did you have TSB 13-04-13 done as well, or do you have MFT?

Maybe you can explain this to me then. If I can always save money by switching Auto Insurance companies, which is what EVERY Auto Insurance company states on TV, why can't I just keep switching until it's free?! :hysterical: Sorry, you will now return to the program already in progress...

I gotta say your pretty picky about it, but to each their own :). In any case, LO is basically the same thing as hitting the Max AC button. From the manual:

Something about that Red/Black combo that I really like :)

The best way to find out is to have people compare other C-Max's against their own. For example, if I drove Matt's car on my normal commute route and got stellar MPG and he drove mine and got low 40s, then definitely there is something fishy with the car. If he got stellar mileage in my car and I got low 40s in his, then there is something fishy with me. Of course this would be hard to orchestrate and Matt probably won't volunteer to drive to Phoenix. :worship:

I hate doing it but it had to be done...

Check out the five step system. http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?37320-Meguiar-s-5-Step-Paint-Care-Cycle-Updated! -
The compressor does normally start out at full power and then drops as the car cools off. In my car the A/C compressor is very loud. I can't say I have noticed the compressor vibrate through the steering wheel and pedals. However, when I am still or moving at very slow speeds, I get a good jolt when the ICE comes on. That is completely unnoticeable at higher speeds. Could it be the ICE that you are feeling?

My Ford Touch update for C-Max finally available!

How close to live to the states? Maybe you need to start importing your vehicles, lol. -
Sometimes you need to drive another car....

Yeah I think that GPS issue is not related to MFT really. Take a look at http://fordcmaxhybridforum.com/topic/1849-getting-gps-module-replaced/?p=17164 and http://fordcmaxhybridforum.com/topic/1484-nav-gps-tsb-13-3-11-fix-for-unable-to-locate-vehicle-etc/?p=12805 -

Did you get a call from your dealer because you asked to be notified when it was avaialble? Has anyone else received a letter or phone call from their dealer or Ford? -
No hard drive and no DVD player?
zhackwyatt replied to BIG ROCCO's topic in Audio, MyFord, Navigation & SYNC
The C-Max does not have a DVD player and does not have a Hard-Drive. It does have A/V input if you had a portable DVD player. The Navigation maps and DB comes on an SD card that always has to be present in the SD card slot. In addition it has 2 USB ports. I keep a flash drive plugged in all the time, and it essentially acts like a hard drive. -
Did Ford Tweak the Computer? (or is it just the weather)
zhackwyatt replied to Riddley's topic in Fuel Mileage
Right that was the point I was trying to get across. For a good understanding of how the MFT can consume power train information, but not generate it take a look at this: http://www.popularmechanics.com/cars/how-to/repair/how-it-works-the-computer-inside-your-car -
It would make sense, don't sit in the car with a potential customer and show them all the MFT coolness w/o this update.

The C-Max does not have pre-tinted rear windows. http://fordcmaxhybridforum.com/topic/291-tinted-windows/?p=8453

Did Ford Tweak the Computer? (or is it just the weather)
zhackwyatt replied to Riddley's topic in Fuel Mileage
I think there might be something to it. I can't get anywhere near 48 MPG for a tank and I have over 6000 miles on it, living in Phoenix, no cold weather anymore. If it is true then it may come from 3.5.1 only because they have to reprogram the PCM module for 3.5.1 to work. MFT does not control any critical systems in the car like the hybrid system. -
Ah, I didn't know that, thanks!

I'm guessing one for the Engine and one for the invertor. Not sure what the third one would be for.

Had a great conversation with a Prius V owner the other day.
zhackwyatt replied to Recumpence's topic in General Discussion
Who told her that? The Toyota dealership? I don't think Ford has not had a hybrid since 2004 Escape. -
I'm a big fan of Meguiar's and have been using the Meguiar's Gold Class Rich Leather Spray: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002V9IFU/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B0002V9IFU&linkCode=as2&tag=calipso-20

Lol, maybe. I've been watching twit since the early days, but haven't as much recently due to lack of time. -
I sent the first one a Fuelly Mail message. Fingers crossed he'll fix it.

It's not about the C-Max, but I thought this was a neat video about Ford Assembly plants in general: http://twit.tv/show/twit-live-specials/28
