I know....on Tuesday with the engineers, they kept telling JAZ and me that we didn't have to stand there in the bay....we could go wait in the lounge.......uh uh, ain't happen in'! No thanks, we're fine right here. And yesterday I almost drove by the dealership to check on it. Maybe today....

Hi Don! So glad to hear your battery issues seem to be resolved! Did they replace the battery? And also good news about the better gas mileage! Have you gotten the 3.5.1 SYNC upgrade yet? There were some tweaks included in that that have improved some folks MPGs.....mine included. And there is another upgrade that has just been released. Who knows what you will be seeing by fall!

Samszr2' we hit 78 here @ 1:30 when I went to the dealership for the meeting w/engineers. Mine failed, so they got to see it in action.....or non-action. ACM is on order for mine now. Hope it works as well. Do keep us posted.

John, I got the 'stop safely now' message once. I ran the diagnostics thing and didn't see any error messages. The car started the next time, and I've never seen that message again

Yup. Take my SYNC/MFT glitch out of the equation (which appears to be pretty unique) and my car is 100%. It's fun to drive, has amazing technology, gets great gas mileage, is comfortable on long trips....I'd buy one again in a heartbeat

Bingo! No SYNC when I started the car! 4 engineers and a Field Service Engineer later.....they are taking downloaded data back to analyze. In the meantime, they are going to replace the ACM.

I'm off to the dealership in about half an hour to meet with the team of engineers from Ford. I have my timeline, some posts from others with the same/similar problem, and my iPad, so I can show them a video of a 2013 Ford Escape that does the same thing. Now, if only mine will *perform* when I go out to start it...... Y'all wish me luck!
