Does anyone have a Intro-Tech Windshield Snow Shield http://www.autoanything.com/driving-accessories/60A4281A0A0.aspx or similar product? Will it help me with my leaf and pine needle problem? We don't get much snow here, but we have lots of trees along our driveway and the Fall assault of leaves and pine needles has begun. In the Spring, we had trouble with tree debris getting into the space where the hood hinges attach to the body and blocking the rainwater drain holes. [see thread titled "tree debris"] I would like to avoid having this problem again and avoid having to do almost daily leaf and pine needle clean outs. I'm wondering if a windshield snow shield will do the trick. I would have to slide it forward and down so it covers the gap between the lower windshield and the back edge of the hood, but I don't know if a windshield snow shield will be secure in this position.

C-Max purchased in December 2012. We love our C-Max! 46mpg over 5000+ miles since the 13B07 update including a 1,200 mile trip to VA, WV and OH, a 600 mile trip to Pawleys Island SC, and a 600 mile trip to Asheville (highlighted by my breakfast with MtnMarty) and Hendersonville NC this past weekend.

So close, but no check yet in Durham. Maybe all the NC checks were sent from the top of Mt. Mitchell (elevation 6,683 ft.) and they are working their way downhill from there.

You got a $400 check for your 12v battery troubles? Has anyone else received a check for this? I don't recall this being mentioned in any previous 12v battery messaged.

It doesn't go into the refrigerant lines. I think it gets sprayed into the air intakes and then pulled/circulated through the ducts and vents. They make another product called Frigi-Clean that is for cleaning the evaporator coil.

Still no check here. We did get our first vehicle property tax bill today so I know where more than half of our check will be going. FYI - the tax bill valued our C-Max at $26,120.

We did the J.D. Power satisfaction survey for the C-Max months ago. Then a few days ago we got a message asking us to do another C-Max related survey. I just did this survey which was almost entirely about how we paid for/financed our vehicle and how satisfired we were with the payment/financing process. The only C-Max questions were - Do you own a C-Max? How satisfied were you with your dealer? How satisfied are you with your C-Max?

Thank you RaPieR. I was going to post a similar reply. We had 52 deg yesterday morning and 55 deg today. I used the seat heater for a few minutes. It is hard to remember how engine warm up was at these lower but still moderate temps back in the spring. I did notice that after about 2 miles of driving at 35-40 mph that the battery level had gone from very low to almost full and EV mode was active, so I am hopeful that the update will help when the temps get lower.

We had Kristi Yamaguchi married to Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Brett Hedican. Never saw them skate together or heard anything about the Canes having her as a skating advisor.

Sorry to hear your upgrade did not go well. RPM is available as one of the choices on the right half of My View. What does bankrate.com know about car styling? I don't know, but I don't think they know much about the C-Max.
