  1. I did enter the CMAX. On that page, I just see: The place to add a photo, Basic Stats, Log Book and Browse Similar Cars. At the very bottom, I see © 2013 Fuelly, LLC Contact Fuelly Terms/Privacy Report This Page @fuelly on Twitter
  2. I don't see this. Could it be that this link won't show until I put in the data for the first fill? I don't yet have my C-MAX, and I am not going to be tracking my rental car. Just setting things up. ETA of less than a week.
  3. I drove from Florida to New Hampshire and back with my Escort. It has been super reliable and accurate.
  4. I'm 53 years old, and I've been enjoying some of my favorites ranging from the Woodstock Generation through the Supergroup Era of the 70s. I like some recent stuff, too. I started out with Pandora, but I've moved to listening almost exclusively to Spotify. I also enjoy NPR Podcasts. Topnotch entertainment and bringing my cocker spaniel along make road trips enjoyable. I can't wait to do it in my new CMAX! I just got a Samsung Galaxy Note 2, which is an Android phone. I test drove the CMAX before upgrading to the new phone. I sure hope that things will work well with it. Kind of a bummer that AppLink isn't on the 303A package, so that I could take full advantage of both MFT and the new smartphone to each one's full potential. I hear that Spotify is planned for MFT. Does anybody have an ETA on this?
  5. Thanks so much for the pics! I just hope it can be done as simply as it seems. If you decide to go for it, please post what you did and how it worked out/ Thanks again. :)
  6. I'll try to do my part . . . in about another week.
  7. I can't say about Texas, but I ordered March 29, and I am told that the ETA for delivery is May 13 plus or minus. I am in Florida. Let's hope that it is closer to the six weeks than the eight for both of us!
  8. I consider myself an air conditioner-aholic. I leave my condo at 68F. I can't think of a time that I didn't have a car with the AC set on the lowest temp it will go, except for a few days during those occasional winter cold fronts that actually cool things down. I am able to tolerate about 72 to 73 at work. So, I hope that I am going to be able to find some kind of balance that I can deal with. I was reluctant to tint the windows, but I am now absolutely going with it.
  9. I am adding things to my cart. So, please post links. Let us know how it looks. I haven't even taken delivery, and here I go starting with the mods! :)
  10. To make a real test drive, here is how I was able to assure renting a C-MAX from Budget. I don't know if this will work in other areas, or if something similar will work with other agencies. First, go online and join the Budget FastBreak rental program. It's free. Next, call your local Budget Rent a Car agency. Do not call the 800 number. For this to work, you must call the local office. As to speak to the FastBreak representative for that agency, if they have one. When you reach that person, explain that you are a FastBreak member--members get priority treatment for vehicle requests--and that you are contacting Budget for the purpose of reserving a specific vehicle, NOT one that could be that one or something from the same category. Let the agent know that you can be flexible for your dates, so that the agency can have time to get a C-MAX to your local agency. Whatever the ETA, periodically follow up to see how things are going. I think it took about a week for the agency to get the C-MAX moved to my location. Good luck
  11. I am the one who mentioned about the local office, but it was for Budget. I am going to make a separate post, and I will ask for it to be pinned, that says how to do it.
  12. Hmmm. Now I see them. Cool! Do you notice a difference in the lighting quality, brightness, areas lit up, etc.?
  13. I am a Costco member, and the dealership that I checked with showed me the dealer invoice, and that had noted on it the various plan pricing, such as X, etc. From what I recall, there were three plans shown: X, D and another that I forget. They were pretty similar, maybe within about $200 or so of each other. The Costco plan was similar.
  14. I think that we should petition Ford to make AppLink work for MFT. It's like they are penalizing those who paid more for an upgrade! Why shouldn't we be able to have both?
  15. I am going to post a separate topic answering this. This is about the fifth time that I answer. So, I am going to post separately, and then I'll ask to have it pinned for easy finding.
  16. I am only a little jealous, considering that I have been waiting five weeks, and I still have about 10 days to go for my ETA at the dealership. :runaway: Congratulations! :)
  17. None of the pics are showing. :headscratch: What do you mean by "puddle light?" Are you talking about the fog lights? Very interested in LED solutions.
  18. I had my last car for the longest I have ever owned a car. So, I decided to order everything the way that I really want rather than decide from available stock, the consequences of which I guess I would be dealing with for a long time. I figured that it would be worth it in the long run. I have never ordered and waited before. I ordered March 29. As of today, I am at about ten days for my vehicle ETA at the dealership from the factory. Really, it hasn't been so bad. I have passed the time on this forum (thank you, and sorry, everyone! :salute: ), and watching videos and learning. The roughest part is that I unexpectedly had a buyer for my prior car, six weeks before the anticipated CMAX delivery date, and I decided to sell rather than to take my chances by holding out until closer to vehicle delivery. I have been driving rentals ever since. My current rental Masterpiece is a Dodge Dart. At least I enjoyed my 2004 Nissan Murano. If I were driving that right now while waiting for delivery, there really wouldn't be all that much to it.
  19. You can rent one; I did. Contact Budget. Call your local Budget, not the 800 number. Explain to them that you are local, and you want to rent a CMAX (not a CMAX or similar). Let them know that you are flexible with dates, and that you are not renting as would a tourist that has specific dates needed. It may take them a little time to move the car from another location. That's why you need to be flexible on dates. Now, I am not sure that this next thing I am going to say is true or not. However, if this helps, it is easy to do. So, I did this: The guy from the local Budget told me that, if you join their program (I think that it's called FastBreak) online, and you call the local Budget, you can ask to speak to the FastBreak Rapid Res representative for their local agency, and you are moved into a reservation priority category. Another Budget person denied this. However, it costs nothing to join their program, and maybe it will help. So, I joined. Anyway, I did a 24 hour test drive, which I think ended out costing around $100, or just under that. (They charge more for specialty cars.) I placed my purchase order the next day. Hope this helps.
  20. That's one of the big pluses that got me to place my order.

  22. I'd be happy to have that solar fan going here in Miami. At least there is the option to open the windows, start the car, and crank the AC with the CMAX. But, it would be cool to add that solar fan to at least provide some protection to the interior while sitting in that hot sun.
  23. Please let us know your date of order, date of build, and date that they deliver. I am told that I should expect delivery is May 13-14, and I am looking for any stats that may help narrow things down.
  24. I wonder why they didn't at least put a Run Flat type of design, or at least something that would give a driver about 50 miles of driving after the flat.
