I believe you can have up to 4 EV+ locations. I used to have 2...home and work. But since I only normally go into work twice a week, Synch lost that location. I could get it back by starting up 11 times, I guess, but I just haven't bothered. Don't know if it's worth it.

Well not so fast about BB and QNX. Now we're hearing talk of Apple CarPlay. Ford is listed as one of the auto manufacturers to be using this system. Interesting, no? Has Ford said anything?

But...here's a big but...or maybe a big butt...They are going with Blackberry. Yes, that disappearing company, not say Apple. Oh, it could get worse...

I went back to the dealer on my second day of ownership to complain that the doors could not be locked. Well, duh, you can't try it by putting your hands around the handle...that unlocks it. Now I just fold my fingers into a fist and press the little black button on the handle to lock. Works every time. And what's really funny is that my wife's Toyota Highlander has the same black button on the handle that we never used for the first 2 years of ownership because we didn't know what it was. Now, both cars are the same!

Finally got around to picking up a tube of Meguiars Scratch X and used it today. The scratches are basically gone with only about 5 minutes of work. So, thanks much fotomoto.

I just looked more closely at the damage. It consists of about 8 parallel lines in the Ruby Red color each about 6 inches long separated by about an inch each. the underlying red color is still visible in each scratch, but it is of a duller color. No black shows through. So my question is, how do I do the buffing. I've never done this before. Also, do I also use touch up paint. I'm assuming I get the exact Ruby Red at the dealer. Would really appreciate help on this. Thanks.

Of course that should be scrapes in the title, not scraps...It's not THAT bad.

Can I just use touch up paint and cover over a few scraps on the plastic front bumper? Don't know how they got there, but there they are....

Well I've talked to a couple of Cmax folks who I've met. One guy spoke to me about mileage for awhile and I told him about this forum. Who knows, he may be here. Had breakfast with DaveofDurham last Saturday while he was visiting Asheville. We talked some about the car too! Fun.

I had to have the dealer replace the latch mechanism for the liftgate. That fixed it.

OK, I've read some earlier threads about this and here's my question: I've ordered a little stubby usb drive (16 gig $12 on Amazon) and it's arriving tomorrow. How should I set up the drive? I'll leave it formatted Fat32 which is how it should come. I've got around 12 gig of music in my itunes library. Can I just drag all of it over to the drive, or should I do an export from itunes? Also, will Maxy index the drive the first time and then I won't have to wait while it does it every time I start up? BTW, my music in itunes if mostly in m4p format. Thanks for the help.

Well, that's not really using Siri ON MFT is it? You're just playing Siri's voice via bluetooth on your car. Or am I missing something? I'd like to have Siri actually operate the MFT system...but me thinks that's a pipe dream. BTW, where's Apex, NC? I'm in Asheville.
