  1. So does this mean that 2016-2018 trans are starting to fail too?
  2. Is the 12V battery fully charged? Checking any electrical connections that you removed/replaced for bent pins or pushed in pins and not making contact.
  3. This shows Escape/C-max center console cover
  4. Should read about 12.5v or so. Try charging the 12v battery and see if the car will start. When the 12v battery was replaced did they reset the BMS?
  5. What voltage does the 12V battery show? If you just replaced the 12v battery maybe the real problem was it was not being charged by the high voltage battery. (DC-DC converter)
  6. I could be wrong but Yeah I think it is just related to how long since the BMS has been reset. Always seems to be 10 minutes right after resetting. Its been about 5 years since mine has been reset and I think it only runs a couple minutes now.
  7. k8thy678, sorry to hear that. What year and how many miles did your car have on it? Some folks found used transmissions and had them replaced apart from a Ford dealer to save the replacement costs.
  8. After resetting the BMS you can turn on the radio then turn off the car and the radio should continue to run for 10 minutes. Over time (months) the 10 minutes time after turning off the car will slowly get less and less.
  9. WOW! Hope nothing was damaged. I would guess, take a look at the coolant thermostat. If that was stuck shut such that the coolant couldn't circulate maybe the pressure could built up.

  11. Mine has gone down in mpg's too but I suspect it because the weather is warmer and the A/C is eating up some of mpg's. Does the best in spring and fall when neither the A/C or heater are running.
  12. Test the brake, turn signals and backup and running lights to get a better idea of what is working and what is not. May just be a bad bulb on one side.
  13. Hybrid only goes a couple miles on ev so the benefits would be minimal. This is a joke, you could put the front wheels on an electric Dynamometer and press the brakes to charge the hybrid battery.?
  14. Welcome, How many miles on your C-max?
  15. What tires are you running with 50psi? I thought the highest psi for the Michelin Energy Saver is 44psi. Extended high speed above the maximum could trigger a high speed blowout.
  16. 30 mm is 1.18 inches, Is that the lift you ended up with?
  17. Happy trails. Hope the RAV4 is kind to you.
  18. I think the grill covers are beneficial especially in colder weather but you need to monitor the water temp in the summer months especially in mountain driving.
  19. Here is an old thread on the topic. best-highway-cruising-speed-for-mpgs

    HELLO

Welcome, I guess the previous owner bought a new car with the bingo winnings.
  21. Maybe one of the connectors didn't have a good electrical connection to the wire(s). Wiggling the connector will make that problem appear/disappear. Hope you have smooth sailing going forward.
  22. My 2013 SEL still has original brakes with no issues at 68k miles. Maybe you could brake hard periodically to clean the rotors/pads especially before inspections.
