  1. Haven't seen that. Must be expanding the coolant? Just add a tiny bit to mine once a year.
  2. Well, you made me look. Hardly a replacement for my C-max. ? But if you need seating for 8 and towing that fills the bill. Was expecting a little better mpg's for a hybrid.
  3. My understanding for my 2013 c-max was 8yrs or 100000miles whichever comes first.
  4. Found an ad for upgrade for sync 2. Looks to be an add on rather than replacement. There is an Install video. Anyone try this?
  5. Looked at my 2013 button tonight, no degradation visible.
  6. jmk above says "Use a long 3/16 hose and push in in to the fill port. " The video on the first page says you can use a 1/2" hose to fill.
  7. I think the dash light will flash when you turn on the car if it can't communicate with the tire sensors.
  8. If the time is 5 years then 2013's may start expiring again. Mine showed up in 2018 last time. Still haven't had to use it yet. Did have the tpms go off on one tire last year because I picked up a nail but was able to get it repaired before it went flat. Which reminds me the batteries in the tpms sensors are still working 10 years now on the original ones. Anyone had to replace them yet?
  9. Were you looking at used MKC's or the new Lincoln Corsair?
  10. My 2013 sync 2 locks up once or twice a year. I just pull the fuse and it always fixes the problem. Never had the battery problem however.

I would pull the cabin filter under the dash on the passenger side and see if they have gnawed a hole in the filter.
  12. My sensors will be 10 yrs old in feb 2023, still working.
  13. The weather is a big factor in mpg's, too cold and the engine runs to supply the heater, too warm and you run the AC to keep cool. When the temps are in the high 60's and we are not running the heater or AC our mpg's can go up to 65mpg. So we usually avg. about 50 mpg in the summer and avg. about 40 in the winter. Our lifetime is 44.7mpg. Learning the best way to drive the c-max certainly helps. Take a look at this video from Paul
  14. Agree with jzchen, Get some more quotes on the new transmission. Good luck!
  15. Yep, mine does that too occasionally when it is cold. Mine does it on the driver door panel or the panel in front of the door. (not sure) Seems to go away after warm up. 2013 Hybrid SEL
  16. Agree about seeing the plastic push pins. The shield on my car had pulled off on one corner because I hit a high curb. I only had one missing so I just used a cable tie to secure it.
  17. Ford should have done this... https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2016/SB-10093862-2532.pdf There were also reports of 2013 SE with wiring problems when driving through water. I think there was a tsb for that as well.
  18. Just take it in to your local Ford dealer, get the oil changed or ask for a vehicle inspection. They will look for anything that might generate sales for them.
  19. Kits are sold on amazon & ebay. Some mechanical/technical expertise required. Good Luck
  20. I think the airbag light was on mine too. It was under warranty so I didn't work on the problem at all. But the tech told me of the wires pulled out of the connector and he assured me that they redressed the wire harnesses so it wouldn't happen again. Since it is tied to the airbags if I was going to work on it I would disconnect the 12V battery and examine the connectors under the driver seat checking that all the connectors are fully seated.
