  1. agreed.since the Energi is the same trim level as the SEL, the SEL should get this option an well. i agree its a security issue for those who want to be mean.
  2. was wondering when we'd be hearing about your experiences with the new updates Jus...guess we will have to wait a bit. most interested in how it can help one of the hyperbole God's of so cal...
  3. sounds good so far. how many days in between the pre and post tests??
  4. you know how the electric company tv commercials always tells you to conserve energy to set your home thermostat to 78 degrees...so it's the same concept for your car. it seems like it would be unbearable but it's not. you do just fine at that temp in your house. and for in the car it would be the same but just a little lower temp (73-76) since the size of your car is much smaller so you use up the cool air quicker and it gets colder faster.
  5. excellent info / tips posted from user hybridbear over at the fusion site but applies to all cars hybrid or not: http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/topic/7229-effects-of-ac-on-mpg-and-how-to-maximize-efficiency-while-using-ac/?do=findComment&comment=60647
  6. all OEM windows come with some built in smoke/tint uv built in but it's not enough to help as much as aftermarket tint. it is always a good idea to tint if it's a large area especially if you plan to slide back the roof cover alot and "let the sunshine in...let the sunshine in"'. will protect you and let less heat in which is a good thing. front window already is huge and lets a lot of heat in as it is.
  7. might want to send an email to Ford corporate or show/mention the overheated lens housing to your dealer next time so they put it on their "to fix/redesign" list to avoid early failures with other users.
  8. hey Jus, your dealer was mentioned in the article!! Most likely as they are one of the biggest if not the biggest in so cal.
  9. did she wear that dress on purpose knowing she was going to pick up her blue candy car?? :) congrats on the new car.hope you have fun saving gas....(for once in your life) j/k
  10. this site might help you all out as it shows the expected time to get your car: http://www.donlen.com/mobile/?id=4294967439 right now cmaxes are taking 10-12 weeks to be delivered if you order one!!

  13. that's cool . I'm sure Ford already had their own app built when they took all the user data at the Irvine meet n greet event. can't wait to see what comes out of this.
  14. glad to hear no new issues since the fix.let's hope it stays that way.
  15. Will be waiting to see/hear how it goes. glad they helped you with the placement of the pods.hope you can find a good sweet spot for them
  16. your pix show badges but your post talks about removing badges so I'm a little confused here. what are you trying to show? what is the difference between the SEL and SE badges?
  17. if you have a white C-max you could call it Stormtrooper it looks like the head/helmet in a way with its aggressive grille front look.
  18. settings / lighting / home light / then select mode either preset or set your own internal
  19. this is the KEY post with info to make sure your dealer did the FE update correctly or not (scroll down 20 posts on this page to one written by keybman where it shows this text in bold (Something to share with your service dept's tech so that your PCM update works on the 1st try) : http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/topic/7238-ford-fuel-efficiency-update-guinea-pig-testers/page-5?do=findComment&comment=61696 many have had to redo the update which is a major hassle of those dealer is far away from your home/work
  20. these 2 posts from over on the FusionHybrid site are interested on comparing before and after the update on their car: http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/topic/7238-ford-fuel-efficiency-update-guinea-pig-testers/page-3?do=findComment&comment=61405 and http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/topic/7238-ford-fuel-efficiency-update-guinea-pig-testers/page-3?do=findComment&comment=61406
  21. yeah i read about the lowest trim level "S" as well but not sure it will actually be a reality or not based on some threads I've read.that will help those on a bare bones budget and need to get a hybrid but can't splurge. it would be competition for the Honda Fit probably. we shall see. wish they had SOMETHING new in 2014 as many have said a few things were missing in their dream vehicld C-Max in another thread on here.
  22. most updates like this DO require test driving the vehicle. i bet you they did drive it but aren't coping up to it. it's common dealer practice to do a test drive.
  23. and if you have hill decent OFF in the same situation what does it do differently??
  24. so they fraudulently stated the FE update HAD been installed per your final paperwork which they had you sign when you paid or picked up this keys??
  25. the one with the worst FE on a longer trip should have to wash the car for the other person. ;)
