  1. I'd like to see that number while operating with electric only for the hybrids.
  2. Yeah, i don't think we can combine the dual fuel meter with the electric output meter - AND we don't have the DTE in the battery, either.
  3. Why can't WE have that view? That's excellent!! I also wished that the EV threshold line showed up in that view.
  4. I don't like the Fuelly interface - I tried to use it and gave it up. My last fill up (this morning), I recorded 36.2mpg using pump gallons and 39.3 using car information. M-F on my drive to work: 8.8 miles city, 30-50 mph 38 miles interstate, 70-80 mph 28 miles highway, 65-70 mph 4 miles city, 25-35 mph I usually average 33-35 mpg going TO work. It is mostly an elevation gain. In fact, from when I leave my house to when I get off of the interstate, I never have >30mpg. The highway driving helps me a little. On my drive home, it's an identical route, but mostly elevation loss. We average 43-50 mpg FROM work. If we do only city driving on the weekends, we might be around 40mpg using pump gallons. I don't have a ScanGauge. Lifetime brake score is 93%. Lifetime mpg is 39.5 mpg according to car. I have filled up my car 59 times and driving 22473.6 miles and have recorded 37.9 mpg overall. edit: I noticed no change between eco and non-eco cruise. Here's a thread I started: LINK
  5. There's definitely a difference. I don't keep track of what % hwy/city driving I do because it's something like 90%+ hwy during the week.
  6. I track all the data from 'Trip 1' with each fill up.
  7. The Ford OEM unit can be installed post-factory, though, right? I'm guessing the alarm and remote start system are integrated with my current set up so they'll probably have to remove the whole thing. I'll want the OEM module if possible.
  8. I really love having the keyless entry and the push start ignition. I guess the installers didn't know the system wasn't compatible.
  9. Our dealership uses an outside contractor to do all the alarms/remote starts. After talking to him today, he says that our unit is not compatible with the keyless entry system. I'm in the process of figuring out what to do. I told my salesman that I didn't just want the alarm unplugged; I wanted the whole system removed so there wasn't extra wiring and modules still hooked up to everything. What I'm hoping is that the entire system gets removed and we get just a remote start.
  10. I was thinking, the accuracy in the dispenser would also directly affect the Veeder-Root (or whatever else is installed) monitoring the whole system; especially if the operator was actively using the tank monitoring system to reconcile data and prompt a new fuel delivery.
  11. Well, at 8-10 gallons, is that difference enough to account for a 2-3mpg difference?
  12. FYI - the unit installed in our vehicle apparently can be reprogrammed to play nicely with our keyless entry feature. We'll find out on Monday.
  13. I average about 2.8mpg less when I calculate the numbers using pump gallons vs. car gallons; and I have filled up at different gas stations. On top of that, I have noticed the gas gauge changing - gaining and losing fuel...
  14. I am more concerned with how the lights will output from our headlamp assemblies than I am the legality; I won't put something together that blinds people. I was driving behind a Prius that had HID lights and they were BRIGHT. So the 55 watt kit in our reflector housings won't blind oncoming drivers? If not, that sounds like something I need to look into.
  15. Are the headlamp housings between HID and non-HID CMaxs different? Maybe instead of swapping over the whole assembly with a light we can just retrofit an empty assemblyinstead?
  16. My guess is that if you do a half-assed job, then that's when the problems start.
  17. Yeah, that's why I've been trying real hard to go through a year's worth of driving before doing any mods (Gas Pods).
  18. True. I have driven 13,489.2 miles (35 fill ups) since I got the update, though. Seems like a decent span of data.
  19. How many miles did you record in that time? Edit: in the last 12 months I recorded 44000 miles.
  20. So are our headlight housings appropriate for HIDs? Is that what the capped bulbs are for?
  21. Yep. If I could convince the ole lady (and if my fabrication skills were better), I'd put extra lights on the front.
  22. I'm really toying with the idea of driving my car for a year before adding the Gas Pods, but I don't know if I have that much patience.
  23. Sorry to hear about your car. I know it's an f-ing terrible feeling.
  24. I'm down in Tucson, FWIW. Also, the fogs help to see pedestrians and bikers who aren't wearing reflective clothing.
