Maxus went home with me the day she came off the delivery truck. Birthday is September 9, 2012

Just installed my platinum white molding on the sides of Maxus, looks real nice and color matches perfectly. Very pleased with the look, now if it just stops a door ding from one of these ignorant so and so's in the south bay? It will be worth the cost.

Brother Jus my feelings too. The way the world is going we might be at war with Russia or there could be a huge global extinction by 2018 from nukes. Don't put it past Putin, the man wants to dominate the world. Even it if it all glows in the dark from nukes.

Well my Sync system has been having issues for some time but I've lived with it so I didn't have to take it in. But lately the system is doing everything but Syncing. Most of the time the screen says it is performing system maintenance and then the screen goes black to eventually return. But reboots are becoming more and more frequent. Now map Navigation system is not working, doesn't show the current map location, the screen goes black and does nothing. I push backspace or return and that is all it will do. It hasn't worked with my iPhone 5 for sometime, but now it doesn't respond to the right paddle functions. Or when trying to select radio or entertainment choices. I wish there was a direct fit replacement for this piece of garbage. Apple needs to get on the bandwagon and come up with a replacement. Microsoft is garbage.

I'm just happy to get 500 miles per tank these days, 700 or 800 seems like a pipe dream. Maxus just isn't doing it pure and simple. My fuelly numbers have hit an new low high 30's :sad:

I agree, better packaging and mounting for the rechargeable battery system is very much needed for Energi models over any other changes in coming models

Brother Jus. so your deaf in the left ear? We share that similarity as well. I have to say I recently caved in to the unceasing comments that the wifee never gets to drive Maxus. I let her drive over the hill to the coast on highway 17. Known for it inclines and twists and turns. To my surprise she did pretty good with her braking score in the hills and managed to pull out a 43AvMPG while climbing to 1800ft at the summit both going and coming back to the sillycorn valley. Guess I have to be a nice guy and let her drive more often. But that means I have to drive her piece of *&%$ which is why I want to buy another CMax. But that's a different story...to be continued.

What I really like about this cover is right off as I drove into a low evening sun there wasn't that annoying reflection of the dash and the defroster vents right in my line of sight. That alone made it worth the cost of the cover. I will be adding my GoPro mount under the cover at the center above the CD slot. That is why there is a bulge in the cover because of the camera mount which also doubles as a mount for my iPad mini when I'm driving out in the field and need to pull over and connect with my manager or other work related business.

Got my new black carpet dashcover today. Fits really nice, very custom tailored even covers the small side front windows on either end of the dashboard. Comes with velcro to attach it to the dashboard. I still need to tweak it to allow clearance for my GoPro camera mount which is attached above the CD Player. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants to cover their dashboard.

The mark it left in my windshield is smaller in diameter than a green pea. There is one very short crack radiating from one side and it can't be longer than and 1/8"

Even with my polarized prescription sunglasses on I still see a reflection of the dash in my windshield. What really bugs me is I can see the air vents for the defrosters in the lower quadrant of my view of vision. Hopefully with this covered up using the cover or carpet as it has been called. I won't see this anymore.

Was driving at freeway speeds heading up to Sacramento on a two lane section of I-5. A truck kicked up a rock, pebble, whatever now Maxus has a chip with hairline cracks radiating from the impact point. Don't want to replace the windshield because from my experience they are never the same over the factor glass. Has anyone had any experience with that system which injects an epoxy into the chip to stop the cracking?

My main reason for getting this is because there is in my opinion allot of glare on the windshield from the dashboard. Also I have a thing about dust and I don't like seeing the dirt which builds up on the black colored dash. Since the dash is so big and deep and a bit of a reach to clean it. The cover hides the dirt. Ok so I'm lazy and should just clean the dash more frequently, but I don't want to, I have severe arthritis in both knees and its a problem for me to reach to the base of the windshield. Lastly I just like seeing a fuzzy carpeted surface over the dull standard dashboard. I have put these in all of my cars over the years.

Brother Jus good idea who needs the back seats anyway :lol2: Was not wanting the dash to be faded or damaged by the sun and heat since it is black it gets pretty hot while driving. BTW, I love your Australian humor :clapping:

you mean Maxus isn't suppose to pull left or right :lol2: mine does but it is because I keep running over curbs and center island dividers. I love 4 wheeling.

Where do you find a carbon fiber tail for a Max? Thats what I want to know :)
