First 500 mile + tank this year. Temps have made it up into the 50's - 60's. Just fill up last night at 504.7 miles 11.4 gals used 44mpg. :love_shower: Not bad for me driving mostly freeway at 70mph. I took a pic with my phone. I'll post when I get it downloaded to my computer.

Check for bullet holes. Someone may be shooting at passing cars again. We had that happening around Columbus about 10 years ago. Also you weren't going under a bridge that someone could toss something from were you?

Looks like I'll be taking mine in for repair. My build date was Feb 28, 2013 I'll get some big honkin SUV to drive that gets 5 mpg while they fix it to. :cry:

Yesterday the temp was 76 degrees going home, but the wind was blowing 30mph gusting to 50mph. :twister:My Maxie only got 46.1 mpg on that 33 mile freeway trip. I was getting blown all over the road.

Temps are finally going up and so is my mileage. 33 miles on the freeway at 70 got 47.1 yesterday and 48.5 today. Keep it up Maxie :wub2:

They were trying to push them out of Ohio all together so this is a victory in my book

Just was checking the news and came across this article. Tesla can keep it's store at Easton here in Columbus and the one at Cinci. Also be aloud to open its planned store in Cleveland. Sounds like you have the same problem I was having. The ICE didn't seem to be putting power to the wheels. It was like driving in a car with the clutch slipping. The engine RPM's are up but your not going anywhere fast. The reinstall fixed the problem. My dealer stinks. I only chose them because they were close. I ordered mine and had to pick a dealer to deliver to. Now that it is fixed I have been driving 35 miles to another dealer that really seems to have they're act together. Kind of sucks putting 70 miles on the car to have an oil change but I'll never go back to the first dealer again.

Just saw another C Max on my way home from work. I was just about to exit the highway when I saw a silver C Max Energy passing me. I honked, waved, pointed at they're car and gave them a thumbs up. :thumbsup: That's when they realized I was also driving a silver C Max and they laughed and waived back. :airquote: I've been seeing a lot more on the road now. I'm starting to feel like just one in a crowd.

Great Idea. I'll have to get some for my Maxie. The engine compartment was pretty dirty when I washed her up last week.

I thought they had traced the problem to the small display screen in the center stack. It wasn't shutting off or something. Those with the larger touch screen didn't have the problem. Worth investigating?

Just went to the gas station to feul up. Pulled out to the end of my driveway and saw a white cmax drive by. Drove to the gas station half a mille away and saw a blue candy one pulling out as I was pulling in. Looks like I'm not the only C Max around here in the country now. Good News. This means China will need more oil to power all of the cars they are buying. This means less oil for everyone else and the price of gasoline goes up. Then there will be more demand for hybrids and plug in's so the resale value of our C Maxes will go up. I'll be ready to trade up to a plug in by then. Maybe the batteries will be better by then and get more miles out of them.

It comes and goes for me. The exteme cold seems to be the cause. I can grab the back door handle and not unlock but grab the front and it works. Only on extreme cold days -0.

Strange? I can lock and unlock mine with gloves on. Leather gloves do not work but cotton does

I agree. Wait until gas prices are high and then sell or trade up

I see that Virgina is not going to tax hybrid drivers now. Finally someone is using there brain. How do they expect people to go green when it cost them more green.

Mine started doing it after they installed that mileage update. I think that has something to do with it. It vibrates when the ICE is running at low rmp's, and goes away as you pick up speed.

I agree. the dirt really piles up and you get dirty opening the rear hatch. yuck

Same as the Chevy Volt does. I think I would be adding some Stabil to the tank just in case.

Ever since I got the mpg update a few months ago my ev+ has only come back for home and work never grocery or dept store I frequent. Wonder why this is? Last week I noticed ev+ didn't come on as I aproached home heading south, but did work later that day heading north home. Strange? Any ideas?

No I don't have any. Weather in winter around here is usually 20's at night and 30's days with some drops into the teens. Never thought I would need them.
