Have seen lots of deer on the roads here in Ohio this year. I did not hit them, some other unfortunate drivers did. I never see any while I'm out hunting. Go figure Lots of pics on my trail cam.

Maybe a back up sound. You can't see people walking behind you very well. If they don't hear the motor running they just keep on walking. If you don't see them :drop: How about a voice that says LOOK OUT DUMB@# I'M BACKING UP in case my brake and backup lights aren't enough of a clue. :lol:

Haven't had any problems with mine. I only use it on frosty morning so I can come out to a warm car and all windows and mirrors defrosted.( no frost or ice don't use it) In the summer I use the role all windows down feature to let the hot air out before I get in. I park it with a sun shade in the windshield and have tinted windows so it's not too hot inside.

Don't know when you got yours. I ordered mine Feb. 2. The build date was Feb 28. Recieved the car from the dealership on March 16.

My guess is the aftermarket ones are cheaper. The trade off is 2 fobs and no programing options. I'd rather pay a little more and get the good stuff.

Here are some pics of what I have

I have only one fob. You press the lock button once and the start button twice to start the car. I can program the duration 5,10,15 mins. in settings and even program to turn on the heat or air to warm or cool the car to my preset temp. I can program it to turn on the defrosters in the mirrors, rear window and windsheid if it is below freezing. It was installed at the factory. I asked the salesman when I picked up the car if they had to install the remote start. He said no it came in with it already installed. I did'nt realize until now that my Maxie SEL is different than some others.

Mine can start the defrosters as well as the air conditioning. I love it.

My SEL has the settings for 5, 10, 15 mins. I don't have a plug in. I ordered mine with remote start from the factor. It wasn't a dealer add on, I asked when it came in.

Don't forget to program your defrosters front and rear to come on when it's cold enough. You can also program the mirrors to defrost for you when remote starting. The car will turn them all on during remote start if it is cold enough. If not it will not turn them on. I love it. Car is all warmed up and defrosted when I get in and I don't have to turn anything on the night before. It will do it all by itself.

I like this layout. One change though. Put a sun next to the snowflake for HEAT and AIR

It could be that it's been sitting a long time and the battery dyed. My old car hadn't been driven in a month, got in it and the battery was so low that it almost did'nt turn her over and that was while it was still warm out.

That's what I have to do. Nice to know it won't take long for everything.

My door chime works fine and I still got a recall notice? Should I take it in or not? After the last update crap I went through I don't know if I should let them touch it again.
