Take a look at this thread. WARNING: This is a very long thread and several people lose all self-control. We hear the wooo below 45mph going up hill BUT ONLY when it's cold (anything below 30*F is considered cold in N Texas). Start on post #15. http://fordcmaxhybridforum.com/topic/3457-strange-long-wooooo-sound-at-steady-speeds-ice-on/

"it was challenging to find a good ground." There are battery and Ground connections under the hood. When you open the hood the 12v connection is behind the driver side headlight under a red plastic cover not round but about the size of a quarter. The ground looks like a 6" long bolt about the size of a ball point pin. It's between the headlight and the 12v connection.

+1 when we're in Colorado. When the battery gets full coming down a mountain regenerative braking shuts down and the ICE starts to provide engine braking.

This is from 2012, we were passed by one a couple of years ago between Dallas & Houston. "Heavy-Duty Hybrids Coca-Cola began building a hybrid fleet in 2001 and now has the largest heavy-duty hybrid electric fleet in North America. Steve Saltzgiver, Coca-Cola's group director of North America fleet operations, says alternative-fuel vehicles now make up close to 10 percent of the company's heavy duty truck holdings, and the company is on track to double this percentage in the next seven years. So far, Saltzgiver says hybrids have saved the company up to 30 percent in fuel and reduced emissions by about one third." http://www.coca-colacompany.com/stories/how-our-truckers-save-gas

Search "Ford ESP", fill out the form, print the quote and take it to your dealler. GM killed the US diesel car in the late 70's. Manufactures are slowly bringing them to the US, THANKS :worship: VW .

Greeting and Welcome Are you talking about your 12v or HV battery? Have you joined the C-MAX Energy Owners forum? There's a link on this page, you have to scroll to the very top of the pg. Now a comment and question about your mh. We carry 2 adapters (available at RV parts stores) 1 converts a standard 15 amp outlet to a 30 amp rv plug, the other converts the 30 amp to a 50 amp rv plug. Second are you sure your 12V charge wire from your mh is working? Have you seen this thread? http://fordcmaxhybridforum.com/topic/374-recreational-towing-behind-a-motor-home/

There have been a couple of threads where ALL the windows were down, at least 1 was caused by accidently touching the open button. http://fordcmaxhybridforum.com/topic/2867-windows-opened-by-themselves/?do=findComment&comment=31278

Your symptoms sound like dead or near dead 12v. I'm thinking your car won't start in the morning, or the next time it sits for a while. New 12v battery soon.

Note to Moderator: This thread needs to be pinned. Jus don't know which sub-forum, "Accessories & Modifications" "Advanced Driver Assistance..." "Electrical Gauges..." "Maintenance..."

Greetings and WELCOME You may have the cmax that Ford has been looking for :worship:. Your car may be unique, the one that had a real world real time dead battery. It was on a Ford lot when it failed, they may have never seen one before. As a telecommunications tech my worst fear was to be dispatched on a major problem and there would "no trouble found". Customers just can't understand that high tech seemingly gets well on its own. Again welcome and please give us periodical status reports.

Cracked Windshield - Bluetooth or non Bluetooth replacement
wab replied to Chodatus's topic in General Discussion
OUCH We have "glass breakage" only costs a few $'s a year NO deductible. We've used it twice in the last 18 months to repair chips. Chip repair cost $40 without glass breakage, 0 with. -

+1 snake oil I just walked away from our running cmax, lost Bluetooth >20' away. Do all cmax have rain sensors? -
Nope Lawyers ;) It has been edited just NOT "in an intelligible form". I get my wife (legal secretary for 20+ yrs) to read it, she has no trouble.

Recreational Towing (behind a motor home)
wab replied to jmckinley's topic in Cargo, Hauling, Roof Racks & Towing
I only find 1 other instance of the death wobble (post #132 pg 7) on this thread and none on the rest of the forum. The only problem we've had related to towing is the tires seemed to be wearing really fast. BUT after a 4 wheel alignment @ 20K miles the wear seems more normal. We have 37371 normal driving and 8463 towed miles. They ARE barely legal @ 45K so are not going to get anywhere near normal wear. wab -
Recreational Towing (behind a motor home)
wab replied to jmckinley's topic in Cargo, Hauling, Roof Racks & Towing
Greetings and Welcome Sounds like you've set it up right the first time. We've had a couple of problems with our "self installed" bulb and socket. I'm going to have to figure out a new route for the wire. Enjoy your c max toad, we have. -

Greeting and welcome Which Demco do you have? Are the chains tie down or safety chains? I ask because our Master dolly only had safety chains for the dolly not the car WHICH REALLY bothered me when one of the straps came loose on our Mini CooperS, never had a problem with the cmax because it fit the dolly much better than the Mini. I really didn't like the dolly, too wide, (right tire was always on the shoulder), so we flat tow the cmax. Please add any tow dolly info you have to the "Recreational Towing (behind a motor home)" thread. http://fordcmaxhybridforum.com/topic/374-recreational-towing-behind-a-motor-home/ wab

" I do have alot more miles(94K)" I don't have access to my digital or hard copy manual. At 35+K on the odometer plus 10+K towed miles I'm thinking it's time to change ours. I gave up on the "start the motor every 2 hours" when towing. It didn't want to start unless I turned on the AC etc. Even when I could get it started it would only run for a few minutes. When DO WE change the fluid? wab
