  1. Run a search on the Forum. I originally wanted to get the Panoramic Roof with the carrier offered by Ford. When they told me that you can't use the rack with the glass, I got some good suggestions for other roof racks that I liked.
  2. What I have learned is in agreement with your last statement. I use odometer Trip 1 for the tank and Trip 2 for one day's worth of commuting (mostly, but other things, too). What I didn't realize was that Trip Summary resets after power down; I thought that you also had to reset manually for the numbers to start anew. So, starting with a fresh reset of Trip 2 and Summary, when I would get to work, both numbers would agree. When I'd get home, Trip Summary only included the leg from work to home, not the entire day. Thus, the spread. Still learning. :salute:
  3. In the first location, it was a not so great area for reception. In the second location, I really don't remember. I'll give it another try in an area that I know has good coverage.
  4. I think I have figured this out. I was finally able to take pics just before and after shut down. (MPG1 is Empower, just before shut down; MPG2 is just after.) From what I can see from the shots, the AVG that is showing just after shut down is from the last time that the C-MAX was started. AVG of Trip 2 is from last re-set of Trip 2. So, if you leave home in the morning, doing a reset then, and then you commute to work, at shut down, Trip 2 will match AVG, because you both started up at home and did the reset there. If you leave Trip 2 running, so that you are covering your commute to work and back home as one "Trip," as you leave work and return home, Trip 2 and AVG will start to diverge, because AVG is only covering the leg home (since that was a new startup) while AVG includes the legs to and from work.
  5. I tried running a VHR today. First, the program seemed to run for a longer time than I expected, and about after a minute or more, I got a message that "This Feature is Not Available Right Now," or something like that. The entire time that the report was trying to run, ICE was running (through an area where I can go EV), and I couldn't get into EV. (So, I already feel like my first tank has been ruined for FE! :censored: ) I tried to run it again later in the day, and I again couldn't connect to the server. (I am registered, I got the confirmation email before this, and I have over 200 miles on the C-MAX.) Is running the report a FE killer, or was it just coincidence? While I am at it, how often does it fail to connect to the server?
  6. I had Sirius in a past vehicle, and it had its place, before there were apps out there that I think are better and usually cheaper. I prefer to pick my own music. So, after my free six months, I doubt that I'll continue with the music. I do enjoy some of the talk radio, some of which I think is high quality. It just gets to a point that all of the subscriptions start to really add up. I may possibly consider the limited menu option that is now available.
  7. Yay! Another member. Welcome aboard! :)
  8. Yes, if you are stating the commands as the system expects. I am not nearly good or brave enough for that yet.
  9. Too early to tell. The prevailing thought is that it may just have to do with the warmer weather, though there has been a thought that the newer builds are doing well with fuel economy, right after deliver.
  10. My dealer called me at each step: Ordered from FordBuild DateVINHold for Random TestingRail YardAt DealerMost dealers are interested in you staying enthusiastic over the long wait. Otherwise, they would lose a deal more often. I'd be surprised if they don't update you, or at least give you an update when you call to request status.
  11. Does it make a chime noise or any sound when you pull the paddle? It could be that it has somehow been set on advanced, which does not guide you with a voice. If so or to check, go into the settings to see how it is set.
  12. On a previous Mustang, I did the same kind of thing, about 25 years ago. You'd be surprised at how little it takes for the side wall to go from direct contact impacts and "scrapes." Plus, they always seem to get the kind of tear, not puncture, that can't be repaired. I purchased the extended tire warranty for my C-MAX. I hope I don't ever have to use it. I'll still call it money well spent if I don't. Sorry for your loss.
  13. It's not a question of getting used to it. I want to know why it exists. This happens to be one of the times that I am not confused (for once!). I know what I am seeing. Lucky for me, the final number is higher than what I was running just prior to shut down. But, if it were to rob me of some MPGs, I'd be more than just curious.
  14. Sounds like it is right on track, and those are realistic time frames. Sounds like it's gonna happen! :hi5:
  15. If they do get it to work with Fuelly, that would be great. I am determined to select my App before my first re-fuel.
  16. Well, I am doing it the same as Fotomoto. I am using Trip 1 for the tank (which, coincidentally matches my Lifetime, since this is my first tank after a fresh Lifetime Reset when I picked up from the dealer and filled up with fuel), and Trip 2 is for the trip or leg of trip. Today, when I stopped at one location, AVG just before shut down matched Trip 2 AVG. When I got home, the final Trip AVG was over one MPG higher after shut down than it was just prior. I know that these are both displaying the same thing (until the mystery discrepancy), because you can see the AVG rapidly changing from the moment I reset.
  17. Glad it has been going well for you. Welcome aboard! :)
  18. No, it is not that. It is the AVG screen while driving versus the Trip AVG that shows right after shut down (alternating with the Lifetime AVG screen).
  19. Wow, right out of the gate! Welcome aboard.
  20. I'm doing the same thing as asb, and it seems to be working pretty well. Tinting has helped a lot more than I expected that it would help. I haven't resorted to using a sun shade inside of the windshield; I hope that I can avoid this.
