  1. Nope........ He's always coming into threads and posting his opinion like I should follow his rule. He has no say in what I post. His opinion is meaningless to me. Do whatever you feel necessary, but I will not apologize.
  2. The Energi won't even do that. I would bet it's less than a mile too :shift:
  3. When my EV is gone and it switches to hybrid mode, my battery only shows the level and not the DTE, also.
  4. I don't know what options are available to the hybrid, but have you looked at My View ? You can make your own screen setup from the available display of each screen. Mix and Match as you like.
  5. The guy was told not to be on school property earlier and came back and plugged into the outlet. The statement by the Chief said nothing would have been done if he hadn't returned. I guess it wasn't as much about the power as it was about the arrogance of the guys attitude over the situation. From the information I heard, he should have been arrested for both trespassing and theft ;)
  6. I get tired of people berating the C-Max because it's not a perfect car. Good luck with that ;) The OP is 100% unrealistic about repairs and is just stirring things up. You and the other 3 self appointed moderators all chime and think everyone is suppose to bow to your opinion. As a member of this board, I don't think so. Get over yourself.
  7. Who asked you to judge the OP or me? You are not a moderator and I don't care what you think about my response and I'm sure the OP doesn't care what you think about his evaluation of his dealers service either. . We have enough self appointed speech police. Hitler is dead and the SS was defeated many years ago. Please don't try to resurrect them on this board. PS... FYI! It's not about you, so go and find something else to complain about.
  8. WOW! Some people just aren't happy with anything. I guess the Prius V will make you very happy :drop:
  9. Tell Ford that. I didn't write the manual. I just posted the manuals information as it is written ;) As for the CVT not having O/D....... This unit is electronically controlled. :happy feet:
  10. Considering it cancels O/D, I wouldn't drive around with it on, if I'm not in the hills.
  11. In the owners manual. It looks like it is designed to turn off Overdrive. D (Drive)The normal driving position for the best fuel economy.D (Drive) with Grade AssistPress the transmission control switch on the side of the gearshift lever toactivate grade assist and cancel overdrive.Grade assist:•The grade assist lamp in the instrument cluster isilluminated.•Provides additional grade braking with a combination of enginemotoring and high-voltage battery charging to help maintain vehiclespeed when descending a grade.•As the vehicle determines the amount of engine motoring andhigh-voltage battery charging, you may notice the engine speedincreasing and decreasing to help maintain your vehicle speed whendescending a grade.Press the transmission control switch again to return to normal D(Drive).•The grade assist lamp in the instrument cluster will not be illuminated.L (Low)• Provides maximum engine braking.• The transmission may be shifted into L(Low) at any vehicle speed
  12. Yes, you can leave it on between hills and while driving in areas with hills. Just don't leave it on when you driving flat areas.
  13. DHA is designed to keep the vehicle at a set speed. It will regen the battery, but after the battery is full it will activate the ICE in fuel cut mode to maintain downhill speeds. I use it with my Energi and only had the ICE spin in fuel cut mode 1 time when the HVB was full. I also use it in conjunction with my cruise control. I turn on the DHA, set the speed and activate the CC. It's a great way to run the back roads without doing anything more than steering the car ;)
  14. Clear your cache..... I had the same problem.
  15. My 17in. HP Envy charges using the A/C outlet.
  16. Yeah. I'm gonna see if I reset the lower threshold to get an early warning. I would like to have it come on about 35 or even 40 psi. I run 51 psi.
  17. I like GM's design. The DIC shows tire locations and pressures :happy feet: My IDS shows tire pressures and locations, so why not on the DIC :drop: It even shows sensor ID numbers :)
  18. It's a new production vehicle. No body makes 100% error free vehicles. As long as they take care of it, you're good. You can expect recalls on new models. If it's and issue, don't buy a new model next time. Wait until the following year.
  19. Every car is different. I said the normal acceptable draw is between 35 and 40 m/a. I had one today that has 47m/a on a 2004 GMC Yukon. I draw the line @ 50m/a on most vehicles. Using a clamp style meter is okay, but I prefer an inline setup, but you can chase it anyway you like.
  20. You need to know the total draw on the system first. Unless you can find the acceptable draw on each and every fused circuit you're testing. The standard parasitic load test limits are 35 to 40 m/a total. After you install the switch and run the car, you install the meter and open the switch and wait for all the modules to sleep. Some can take up to an hour, but most are off by 20 to 25 min. Disconnecting the battery to install the meter is useless. The modules power down and can get locked up with low voltage issues when the meter is installed. You need the switch to do a proper parasitic load test. Otherwise, you're just wasting time and chasing your tail around in a circle :headspin:
