It's Impossible to resistance test for parasitic battery loads. Disconnecting the battery will only serve to shut down all systems the same as a dead battery will.

What are the ECT's and is the coolant fan coming on ?

Ours was down to 3.29 for about 2 weeks. They jumped it back up to 3.33 at the lowest priced station. Most are still over 3.45 to 3.65

Recall 13C07 caused my accident!
drdiesel1 replied to Brazen's topic in Maintenance, TSB's & Recalls
They should have a fog horn in every car to warn you if you're being forgetful. That way, they could avoid all this operator error and the world would be a safer place. Better yet, install a tazer to hit you with 50K volts if you do something wrong and expect the manufacture to pay for your inability to properly operate your car :happy feet: Outlawing gum would help too ;) -
Okay, thanks! Engine Coolant temperatures acronym is ECT ;) How do you get the 12V SOC ? I can only get 12V, voltage readings.

Don't get mad about it :victory: -
Cruising mileage testing with aero mods.......
drdiesel1 replied to Recumpence's topic in Fuel Mileage
I would be concerned about blocking the lower grill. The electronics cooler is located behind it and could help lead to cooling related problems for the hybrid system controller. The lower grill isn't gonna change ECT very much, IMO. The upper grill will affect under hood temperatures and might also contribute to overheating of the electronics. Having one or the other blocked would be a safer choice and my pick would be to leave the lower unblocked. -

What mods have you made ? -
Yeah! Everything is reported and if you don't get the lost value money, you're taking the hit. Thanks for the FYI ;)

My vehicle data subscription isn't giving me much on the C-Max's yet. The Ford repair manual would be what you need. They offer a 72 hour, a monthly, and a yearly subscription for a digital version. You can buy a CD for $170.00 dollars, US. https://www.motorcraftservice.com/vdirs/retail/default.asp?pageid=cat_1&gutsid=productdetail

What specifically are you looking for ?

No problems with going from 3.1.3. to 3.6.2.. You had to have 3.5.1. to update to 3.6.2. using the SD card at home. Otherwise, the dealer had to install it like they did yours.
-
You can also get the HVB's temperature, S.O.C and cabin temperature using X-Gauge setup.

You can also get the HVB temperature, S.O.C. % and cabin temperature using the X-Gauge setup. What are the 2 acronyms, WT and IMPG ???
-
You can configure the Scan Gauge II to compensate for the incorrect mileage readout :love_shower:
-
Probably 3.6.2. You can go into the Nav system info and look at the ID info. Here's what it should be if it's 3.6.2. My car came with 3.5.1, but I updated it to 3.6.2. before ever using it. My voice command isn't working very well either. So, I just don't use it. I guess we will need to wait for the next update, because the dealer won't be able to do anything about it.

They are required to use do care and caution, but most don't even know the meaning of the word. Bicyclists are just as bad and most ignore traffic control signs. They just do as they please and blame drivers for their ignorance, just like most pedestrians :drop:

+10000000000000000000 Brazen caused, Brazen's problems and now he's hoping to have someone else pay for his mistake :drop: Your insurance should cover it, even if they raise your rates :spend: Accountability comes to mind, even if you had a temporary lapse of it when this event took place  -
What version did they update it with ?
-
Take the C-Max..... It's a car with a parallel EV drivetrain. It's not gonna cause any issue's. Drive it and enjoy it :love_shower:

I love the auto-wipers
drdiesel1 replied to fotomoto's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors & Wipers
So we had some rain lately and my wipers were set to auto mode. I hopped in the car and shifted to reverse. To my surprise, the rear wiper started clearing the back window :worship: I backed out and drove away and the rear wiper turned off :love_shower: -
It looks like a misprint ;)
