" I also see an Indention next to the 12v plug. Or is it not really much of an Indention and more just the molding?" Once I realized that this small indentation existed, I tried putting some coins in there. As long as there aren't a lot, it seems to hold them ok. The floor of the indent has a slight downward slant, making a nice little nook. I second Rachel's compliments on your photography, SB. REALLY nice job. Since our cars are the same color, it makes mine look great!

Rachel, are you thinking of changing to an Energi? Maybe that's why the wait is so long, to give you a chance to change your mind! ;)

Nice job! Can't wait to hear about the trip.

We're at $4 (cheapest I've seen) in Socal. They say it may go up another nickel or so. Sure glad my fill ups last longer!

Andrew, once the weather warms up (if it ever does) your mileage should start creeping up. I've been getting 37-45 per trip, depending on hills, weather, etc. I've got an average of 40.8 since the car "turned" 1000 mi. Bummer to hear about the door problems; hopefully that will be the end of it. Enjoy the car!

Congrats on your new red addition, though sorry you had to give it up so quick for repair. Hopefully, that will be the end of your problems for awhile, and you can get to enjoy your car! Welcome to the forum!

Your C-Max is in San Diego! First one I've seen moving in the wild: white, rolling south along the 805 in front of me around 4:30. Not enough time to catch up before I had to exit onto the 94. Actually took me a minute to realize what it was!

If my dealer needs to give out loaners, they use the Enterprise people they have on site, and pay for the rental.

New buyers think carefully about what model you order
roninsd replied to Laurel's topic in Buying, Order and Leasing
Gina, can't agree more with Nick: keyless entry is great! As far as I know, the SE model doesn't have this (unless it's an added option), but is standard on the SEL. The "start" refers to the ability to push a button to start the car without using the key. This is totally separate from remote start, which allows you to start the car from a distance (say, you live in a cold area, and want to start the car a few minutes before you have to get in, so you can turn on the heat). From posts on this forum, it seems that this is not a factory build, but a dealer add-on. There are several posts around this site on this topic. I would search on the term "remote start". Good luck with your decision! Enjoy the process. -
Nothing that long. Sounds like it could be a great trip! If you decide to go, enjoy!

Where did you stay in CV? -
Laurel, stop it! I can't get the image out of my head, and can't stop laughing. Hurts like hell since I have a bruised rib! Make it stop!!! :yahoo:

Agreed, Jus. It took me a little time to get used to them, but have no problem with them now.

Did George Forman have a part in designing the seats?

Funny!

Pretty impressive, Rachel, and you're even mentioned: "He is married with three children". Guessing you're one of them! :) Ah, to be immortalized.

thanks for the info.

Great thing about having all the gadgets is: you don't have to use most of them, if you don't want to, and they're there if you do. You and dad could have your own regional gathering!

Maybe an uninflated tire with the air compressor? :)

So does this mean that your new car is just sitting with it's nose against the fence, waiting to be united with her new owner, like a dog (or frog?) in the shelter waiting for its forever home? :)

Cassy and Johnn, enjoy the anticipation. I didn't realize how lucky I was until I started coming to the forum: my dealer was able to find what I wanted at another dealership a little north, so I only had to wait a week (no ordering). Cassy, please don't worry about the electric issues -- most owners here haven't had that problem. The problems that have popped up seem to be mainly with the SE, not the SEL So far, I've only had a problem with a windshield wiper blade breaking. Will deal with any other problems when they crop up -- the car is worth it!

Happy birthday, Rachel! whew hew!
