I have more 70% and 80% than not it is just too hard to plan my braking here. Always some idiot that ruins my best efforts. Or a light turns yellow just before I reach the pedestrian crossing and I have to nail the brakes or risk running a red light. Once in a great while I get a 100%.

got as low as 29.8AvMPG today with full A/C since we are hovering around 100degrees today and I'm doing badly with my braking, but I'm comfortable and thats all that matters. I've given up trying to get 40's anymore it just isn't happening too much.

your making me very jealous, I have only dreamt of doing the same to my SEL. Just don't know how to begin with limited garage tools

I couldn't handle setting A/C temp to 78, maybe 76 or better yet 75. I'm warm by nature so A/C is very important this time of year. Blower speed must also have to be factored in as well?

Very impressive work Recumpence. Well I gave that air flow a big test over the weekend while driving in 110 degree heat in Sacramento, CA with full MAX A/C running. Still pullout 45 Av MPG except in the hilly sections of my driving.

Interesting...You obviously have some access to a shop to cut that opening so smooth? Also so fluidly around the license plate. I'm not familiar with that material. I have plastic store (TAP Plastics) here in my area which I buy all my acrylic from for my many fabrication projects. They will custom laser cut any plastic you might need. How is that secured to the bumper cover? Pop rivets? Did you have to modify the stock mountings for the factory grille?

I didn't get any options as my dealer mounted the license before I took delivery. It appears to be pop riveted on, I painted my large grille opening black with plasti-dip to match my alloy wheels. Wanted to paint behind the license plate frame but couldn't remove it so painted around it. All the chrome is black, I hate chrome. My plan is to black out everything chrome to give it that stealthy look. Including the chrome around the side windows.

Jus great job, I'm so envious but 80+mpg, no way Jose for my CMax, I'm having enough trouble just maintaining 45 AvMPG. I'm taking a road trip this weekend to Sacramento so I'll be doing freeways and I-5 all the way up. So there goes my 45 AvMPG. Has taken me two days of very controlled driving to pull out 45 and 46 all in town.

SalsaGuy, good points. I don't know how they plan to enforce this. I will say I felt strange parking there since it seemed like it only applied to fully electric cars or rechargeable models like the Energi.

I got to do this last time I was at Chick-fil-A. Parked right in front near the door. This is great since I will get to do this each time I eat there. This is the only Chick-fil-A in San Jose

I paid $36k total out the door for my Platinum White SEL with Pano, leather seats and 303a option. Yes it is high but taking into consideration I bought it on September 20, 2012 and it was the first one in my area since I bought it the day they took it off the transporter. There was no haggling or price dealing at that time, I paid just about sticker. But I'm not complaining.

Well I'm happy to say I pulled out a 46.1with A/C running all on local city streets. Started at 44mpg and an hour later got to my best of 46.0 AvMpg

I'm with you reed mother I can't get a consistent AvMPg to go past 44 driving the same roads everyday. It is so exhausting that I'm ready to just say the hell with it and just enjoy the ride for what it is at 38-44Avmpg

I'd just like my Max to show the energy flow diagram everytime I start up, it never does
