  1. Syncmyride will only show MFT and Sync updates.
  2. Most Ford Dealers participate in the Owner's Advantage Rewards program. You get 5% cash back for all service. https://owner.ford.com/servlet/ContentServer?pagename=Owner/Page/OwnerAdvantageRewards
  3. Personally, yes I would. I haven't had any problems battery problems and such like other people have If I have maybe my opinion would be different. But I love my car. The question has been asked before too. http://fordcmaxhybridforum.com/topic/2038-with-all-the-current-battery-problems-should-i-buy-would-you-still-buy-knowing-now/ Assuming it came straight from the factory to their lot, then yes it should have the fixes. The FE update was rolling out of the factory early July I believe. If you have the VIN on any of these cars you can see when the build date was by looking at the window sticker: http://www.researchmaniacs.com/Ford/TrackFactoryCarOrders.html
  4. Interesting, I leave my car unlocked all the time in the garage and have not noticed this. Have you changed your "Home Light" settings? I have mine on the shortest time interval (can't remember what that number is exactly).
  5. Hmm, they don't site any sources, I'd bet its a mistake/confusion. http://www.vrep.fordtechservice.dealerconnection.com/vdirs/oasis/oareq.asp?broadcast=ON&from Only shows those w/o panorama roof.
  6. There is a thread about this here: http://fordcmaxhybridforum.com/topic/1901-auto-headlights-with-auto-wipers-do-yours-work/?hl=%2Bwipers+%2Brain
  7. True, but my guess would be the restrictions to be put in place are decided when the car is started.
  8. No, it's if you use remote start to start the car, it has no idea whether that was the master key or the slave key that was used.
  9. It's because of the MyKey system. It always shuts the car off so you can't bypass the restrictions that someone might have put in place. I wish it would only shut the car off if MyKey was actually enabled, but alas no.
  10. Ok, so the OEM bi-directional (and unidirectional) both operate as follows: 1. Start with locked car. 2. Push the button twice on the remote start vob. 3. Car starts (with Bi-Directional the remote will beep after it receives confirmation from the car). 4. Walk up to Car, pull door handle, car unlocks and door opens. 5. Car shuts off. This scenario also happens: 1. Start with locked car. 2. Push the button twice on the remote start vob. 3. Car starts (with Bi-Directional the remote will beep after it receives confirmation from the car). 4. Walk up to Car, unlock door with key fob button. 5. Car unlocks. 6. Open door with handle. 7. Car shuts off.
  11. The update contains: From: http://fordtechlane.com/ford-releases-more-details-on-myford-touch-v3-6-upgrade/ "Ford will release via their new website support.ford.com a new version of MyFord Touch, v3.6, that promises to 'enhance and improve system performance and phone connectivity.'” A good FAQ on that page as well. For a sample letter I found: https://www.dropbox.com/s/teo7phd8l6u77f3/MFT%203.6%20Letter.pdf from http://www.blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/topic/54152-sync-summer-update-gen2-v36/?p=864260 (Although this is for a Ford Escape (I think), but I don't think that matters.)
  12. That's exactly right. I guess I'm confused. I thought you were saying that if you used the fob to unlock the car while it was running, and then opened the door, the car would not shut off. I was saying I have tried that, I always just walk up to the car and pull the door handle, it unlocks, the door opens, and the car shuts off.
  13. Oops, I don't know what I was thinking, but it didn't stop, it still happens, just less often. It won't even charge it? No that is not normal. The two USB ports are identical in functionality.
  14. I've never tried to unlock the door and then open it, but yes, the car will shut off as soon as you open it the door. From my understanding it always does this on vehicles equipped with MyKey. If it didn't, then you could get around the MyKey restrictions by just using remote start. I wish it would only do that if you had MyKey enabled though.
  15. I was referring to just the edge. But yeah, who installs it is probably the most important factor.
  16. Can't speak to number 2. For number 1 it did not take long before i got rock chips. (http://fordcmaxhybridforum.com/topic/1455-chips/?hl=colorchip&do=findComment&comment=12396) I don't have a bra and the one thing that bugs me about those clear bra's is that over time they trap dirt in the edges where you can see it.
  17. This used to happen to me all the flippin' time. Then it stopped. I *think* it stopped around the 3.5.1 upgrade but I'm not sure. Also, there really isn't a lot of current to charge the phone from USB. (It should be similar output you would get from a laptop usb port.) It's just a trickle charge.
  18. Are you sure your Sirius Travelink subscription has not expired? Also there is an option (can't remember where) to turn this on and off.
  19. I would still think your in the minority in having your modules replaced. Mine took a couple hours and was done.
