Wahoo!!! Does it have the build date?

Jus, I used to be *that* driver in my Jeep. My driving style has altered so radically that my husband can barely believe it. He wants a C-Max now, and I'll be curious to see if he has the same drive for MPG as he has always had for MPH :redcard:

Ok, so it's only 20 miles to work, not 25, but it's the same route every day. The only diff today was the temperature, nearly 54. Still, it was rainy/foggy, so I had the defrost on and the bun warmers on low and STILL got 51 mpg for the ride home!! Take *THAT* CR! Sorry, no pix, battery was too low on the phone. You will just have to take my word for it. Now, if I'm this excited at 54* temps, can you imagine how I'll be at 75!!

Wasn't me :>), so there's at least 1 more of us out there. We sure are few and far between tho, aren't we?

The only thing I am seeing are more pop-up C-Max ads on cnn.com......

On the C-Max FB page, someone made a derogatory coment about the C-Max looking like a jelly bean..........I kinda liked the reference, so mine is Jelly Bean, or JB for short. We used to have a TomTom gps which gave you voice choices. The one we used most frequently was *English Lori*, so the next generations were all called Lori. SYNC voice sounds nothing like that, so I have no name for it yet.

Hi Nomadchick, I see this is your first post, so congrats and welcome to the forum. It's a great bunch of folks. I'm with you, even on my worst tank of gas (which was last week in the sub-zero temps, with heater, defrost, bunwarmers, remote start....everything going) I still got 31.6 for the tank. I'm coming from a Jeep Liberty that got 17-21 mpg, so I too am thrilled with the mileage I'm getting, and I know with the coming warmer months it will continue to improve.

Not that I've seen from the Detroit stations. Plus, I was very disappointed that there were only Energis at the Detroit Auto Show..........not one Hybrid!

Roggie, I got my window sticker on 11.23.12, the build date was 11.24.12, and I took possession of the car on 11.29.12. Now granted I only live about 30 miles from where it was assembled. Oh (phooey? darn? crap?) pick your expeletive of choice! That sucks! I remember when I had had my Jeep Liberty for only 6 months and was T-boned by a grocery cart going 22 mph in the parking lot! Hate those first time owies! It's a full moon, don'cha know?

Laurel, I think we took possession of our C-Maxes the same day....Nov. 29, 2012, right? I had the same reboot experience.....about 2 weeks ago. It must be a shopping thing, because I was just leaving Kohl's after shopping for my granddaughter's 3rd b'day. I can't really tell that the reboot did anything.....I still have the same SYNC/MFT issues as before. But, like you I LOVE MY C-MAX! and I'm confident that all the glitches will be resolved sooner rather than later. Oh, and the lower Fuelly score at the bottom........-9* to +9* for the past week, short trips, and my husband driving a couple of times, sucked the life out of my FE. But warmer days are coming this week!

I tried that and it worked like a charm. Would you care to share any others that you have learned? I asked at the auto show yesterday in Detroit, and they told me about changing the setttings to *advanced*. I'll see if that helps.

ER, I share your pain! I'm in Michigan and we're experiencing the coldest week of the winter.....-9* -- +9* this week. I was using the remote start, bun warmers, defroster....everything! That, plus a few shorter than usual trips, and letting my husband drive a few times, will have me at my lowest mpg yet...probably 31 average for this tank. But I'm not in the least worried. I saw what it can do in warmer temps the weekend of the 12th when we had 50+. I love my C-Max right now, but I know the best is yet to come!

Only Energi! Not one C-Max hybrid!! What's up w/that Ford?
