Anyone know the cause of all these update failures?

Yes that worked for me, you must have the flash drive installed on your computer for that to work.

Yeah mine never turned on the ICE during the update but I paid for the low battery the next morning when I drove it.

Accelerate to 65 mph or higher, let up on the accelerator and see if it drops into EV.

After the update noticed a new menu item to show gps location which when selected shows latitude, longitude and elevation. Also noticed it displaying compass heading of the car on one of the screens. I have SEL with MFT and no NAV. Had to pair the phones again too.

Check for Java 7 Update 25 in Tools/Add-Ons and make sure it is enabled. When installing it appears to freeze several times but let it continue , it restarts itself 4 or 5 times in the process of updating.

I sucessfully downloaded on my mac after installing java and enabling java in my Firefox browser under Tools/Addons Flash drive must be empty and formated for Dos Fat.

Funny how all the dashboards read on the high side, seems intentional. Wonder if there is a way to calibrate it.

Unless you had a pre-nuptal agreement stating minimum brake score and mpg you should drop it. You could offer to drive your wife when she want to go somewhere.

Here are more details about EV+ from the manual. The EV mode usage changes are based on the following criteria: 1/2 mile (1 kilometer) from a familiar destination, your vehicle starts to raise the accelerator pedal based EV mode threshold. 1/8 mile (200 meters) from a familiar destination, your vehicle is in full EV mode. Infrequent destinations have no increase in EV driving.

I have the memory seat option for my SEL C-max. I am 6' 2" and can't get in the car after my wife drives it so she has memorized my settings and she resets the seating to my prefs before she gets out of the car at home. :happy feet:

That surprises me since this article says ... "Ford will make software updates to new cars and send out letters to existing owners in late July, asking them to bring their cars in to dealerships for the updates in August."

You will still be able to get in the Negative Split Mode you just have to drive 90 MPH to do it. :)
