Haven't heard that, this is latest on the lawsuits I could find. http://www.topclassactions.com/lawsuit-settlements/lawsuit-news/4321-ford-hybrid-fuel-economy-class-action-lawsuits-consolidated-in-mdl

Wonder why fusion hybrid isn't getting the rebate, fuelly shows they are getting about the same mpg as c-max ~40mpg.
-
Ok , time for full disclosure, what was your mpg going up that mountain? ;)

Anyone getting better MPG with the new update?
homestead replied to armoredsaint's topic in General Discussion
My mileage also continues to increase since the upgrade, was getting about 44.5 mpg pre-upgrade and am now getting about 48.5 mpg on my 2nd tank since the upgrade. -
Run the car diagnostics and after you view the results on the web page it will let you know if you need a sync update.

Here is what my car is doing at 2800 miles. This was a trip running mostly at 55-60 mph, no ac. Mpg is still slowly improving with breakin and update. I believe the update is helping 2-3 mpg. Current tank is running at 48mpg mostly in town driving.
-
Any idea what the state of charge you had on the hybrid battery for each of these trips, that may help explain some of the variations.

Was the oil dirty on your first two changes?

Spotted this spare tire for C-Max on ebay, free shipping

Curious what everybody is getting for their current Lifetime Average MPG? Mine is 44mpg with 2300 total miles. I reset mine at about 200 miles. What is yours?

Hope they didn't have a problem with the 13B07 update that they have to rev the software again.

Ok, my car came with 3.5.1 and was built 2/18/13 and I did install via flash successfully and was registered as installed so why does does ford website say I need to go to a service center to install 3.6.2?

Hmm , That doc also shows 13171 as 3.6.2 for c-max I looked at supportford website for my sync history and it shows this... Date Downloaded: Aug 4, 2013 Version: Gen2 - V3.6.2 But the part about not being able to use a flash drive is puzzling. Have you called Ford on this?

Are dealers compensated by Ford for warranty work?
homestead replied to locot's topic in General Discussion
I put fresh air in my tires every few months, that along with the ruby red color I figure buys me 2-3 MPG more. -
I think you are right on the money.

According to EPA data update only improves city driving not highway. YMMV

Ford to lower fuel economy rating on C-Max hybrid

Would be cool to have three seperate programs with optimizations for city, highway & combined that you could load from a flash drive before going on a trip, or better yet have it be a menu choice on the touch screen. -
If wasn't rigged then I would expect to see about half of c-max's getting lower mpg than at the pump mpg values but everyone that has commented on the difference states that their display is higher so I expect Ford fudged it towards higher mpg.
-
I don't have any problem with CR mpg rating, they were testing pre-update and in the winter. Plus the MPG display on the C-max is always off reading higher than it really is, shame on Ford.
