  1. If wasn't rigged then I would expect to see about half of c-max's getting lower mpg than at the pump mpg values but everyone that has commented on the difference states that their display is higher so I expect Ford fudged it towards higher mpg.
  2. I don't have any problem with CR mpg rating, they were testing pre-update and in the winter. Plus the MPG display on the C-max is always off reading higher than it really is, shame on Ford.
  3. My car got this same notice, not sure what to do yet. It is possible that when we notified ford of the completed 3.6.2 sync update it was able to see the log file of the install on the flash drive and there were errors and it does need to be reloaded. The question to ask I guess is did anyone update their 3.6.2 sync and not have the notice online for the requested service for the dealer installed 3.6.2 update?
  4. When it read 45-50 and charging was the battery level increasing/decreasing or staying the same?
  5. Very nice calculator, you need to update the Cmax hybrid to 43 mpg
  6. http://www.autos.ca/general-news/ford-didnt-test-c-max-before-rating-fuel-economy-will-give-rebates/ $895 Please close this thread
  7. Its in the other thread,it was about 300 more than US.
  8. The first half of my current tank was pre-update and was getting 44.6mpg. I now have 97 miles post update on the same tank and am getting 46.1mpg since the update. Seems to still be slowly climbing, expect it to go a little higher by the end of the tank. This is all city driving with 2372 total miles on the car. The headliner recall seems invisible to me.
  9. Welcome FranOR, Nice car. We have a lot in common I am also a retired engineer in Oregon. Enjoy the forum.
  10. Mine shows same , I updated Sync to 3.6.2 when it first came out.
  11. My car had all the updates and they dropped off the FordEtis website except I still have this one remaining. How does this one get received and dropped off since its just a warranty extension. 12M02 - SYNC WITH MYFORD/MYLINCOLN TOUCH - WARRANTY EXTENSION COVERING ACCESSORY PROTOCO L INTERFACE MODULE (APIM)
  12. Wow you are really loaded, is there a Prius V in your future? ;)
  13. How about $550? Maybe we should wait and see what the 2014 is rated for MPG.
  14. By subtracting the pre change numbers to post change numbers in the epa doc you can see how much the powertrain update improves mileage according to epa. combined 2 mpg improvement city 3 mpg improvement highway no change
  15. Yes, and I think a lot of others just accept the sync bugs for now. I would give sync a C- grade. But then I guess these posts are me complaining to you folks not to Ford.
  16. I expect Sync to get better in a year or two after upgrades, kind of like windows OS.
  17. Lets start complaining about all the problems with Sync, maybe Ford will cut us checks for that too.
  18. if your window sticker says 47/47/47 then you should get the rebate.
  19. Will be interesting to see how Ford rates the 2014 C-Max hybrid for MPG.
  20. Looks like we get some money back... Buyers to receive $550 in compensation; lessees to get $325
  21. Here is the story on NBC , lowered to 43 MPG Combined http://www.nbcnews.com/business/ford-lowers-mileage-estimate-hybrid-crossover-6C10928484
  22. I've been through the desert on a C-Max with no name
  23. Took my car in today for 13B07 & Headliner recall, was surprised it only took 1.5 hrs to complete.
