Oil change required just came up on my car today. Car has 8600 miles but just turned one year old. Checked the oil, level was good and oil was just a little dirty.

I got that error before I logged in, then it recognized it.

Recall didn't show up for my feb 2013 SEL, so maybe it applies to the SE seats.

I get about the same mpg on the highway and about 3 mpg better in the city, especially on shorter trips. So for us the update was a plus. Noticed that with the temperature rise the last month or so the cmax mpg tracks the temperature pretty close from 38 - 60 degrees F. For example temp today was 60 degrees F and mpg in a 9 mile city trip was 60 mpg.

A failure defined as unable to start car due the 12v battery being drained. My SEL has had 0 failures with about 7500 miles. You may exclude any operator errors. (leaving lights on, etc)

After I posted that we got a 1/4 inch of ice on top of the snow so I gave up on the idea of plowing though it. It should be all gone in a day or two as the temp is due to go to 50 degrees. We live in Hillsboro OR.

Just had our first snow for our c-max. We got 10 inches, am wondering how deep the snow can get on an unplowed road before the c-max has troubles? Only the main roads are plowed here so will we be bottoming out?

FYI, I test drove a new prius V in april and it had the same problem, wouldn't start, I drove it after they jumped it.

That button has always worked for me. Tonight I got a call while standing outside the car, got inside to the car to finish the call and while I was talking my wife turned the car on to acc mode and the car took over the call to the car speaker and I was able to continue the call through the car without a problem. Great technology. I was using an iphone.

When speeding up or slowing down this divider will help keep cups from tipping over.

Yes I am talking about the video port in the center console. I'll bet there isn't a cable going to rear of the car if don't have the rear camera option.

I don't think the video port is active when in reverse, you need the lockpic to get around that.

Yeah, moving car in parking lot. Now where did I park? At home does it have a sleeping cat detector so it doesn't run over your kitty? They should also charge the 12v battery so they don't fail so often.

What price difference are you seeing between 13 & 14?

Yes there are lots of prius's here not so many c-max's I have probably only seen a half dozen since we bought ours in april. We do see a lot more escapes here. We tend to avoid driving during rush hours (3-6) here in the portland area and when we go to seattle area as we are retired. We also tend to stay in the right or middle lanes unless we are passing. We have been living here for about 35 years so have gotten used to the traffic. I hate to drive in the bay area or LA it too hectic for me.

Glad you had a good trip Laurel. We live in Hillsboro, I don't think traffic is as bad as you describe but it does seem to be getting worse than years past. We stayed in Cannon Beach several years ago and enjoyed it, we also like Seaside but it is crazy there in the summer.

Hi Paul Does Ford accept your grill covers as a legitimate update or would installing the covers invalidate their warranty? My mpg's have dropped about 6 mpg so far this winter.
