My radio froze up today so I added the tape to the fuse so I can pull it with no tools. Radio wouldn't turn off, volume didn't work either. Last time was about 8 months ago. Fuse is on the 2nd row from the right and the 3rd fuse from the bottom. Mine is a blue 15amp.

The bolded text above tells me your sync was locking up. If you don't pull the fuse 79 right away it would drain your 12v battery.

Could try wrapping some plumbers white teflon tape around the top before putting the lid on? Maybe that would seal it.

I have seen that hole and looked for something I dropped in there too. They have mini attachments you can get for a vacuum with a small flexible tube. You could stick the flexible tube in the hole and move it around and try to capture the hearing aid with the suction. Interesting, reminds me of a RAV4. Still looking for a replacement for our 2013 c-Max. I’ll add that one to our list.

The original MPG's for the C-max were 47mpg. Ford gave owners money back in 2013 and 2014 I believe when they lowered the mpg's

Agree with jzchen but... I believe there is a hitch you can buy but for tiny trailers or bike racks. The grade button on the shifter I believe is for maintaining speed going downhill.

If you just changed the oil that would be top of my list to check first. could be the drain plug, oil filter, cap off the oil fill on top of the engine. Gasket missing on the drain plug. double gaskets on oil filter. ( they can pull off the old filter when it's unscrewed)

Why not take it in and get a professional diagnosis of the problem and then decide if you want to try to fix it yourself?

All of the sync 2 cars 2013-2015 on c-max can do this. Mine does it about once a year.

Yes, the sync 2 froze up. Easy fix is pull fuse 79 under the glove box and reinstall. If you don't pull the fuse it can drain the 12v battery.

My understanding for my 2013 c-max was 8yrs or 100000miles whichever comes first.

Try a brush and clean the sensors front and back. They get crud in them.
