Update the UPDATE: This POS reminds me of Nortel (sorry to all our Canada members). After shutting down after 1:15 and restarting Navigation is GONE we now have "Information". But that's not the best part. Someone suggested a master reset might be required...HA another POS with the soft buttons upside down. Anybody ever try to do a "master reset" or RECALIBRATE THE TOUCH SCREEN with the buttons upside down... Here's a hint... close you eyes (so you can't read the screen) and stand on your head... it worked. Now we're off to the dealer for a nav repair/reboot and 13B07. :drop:

What happens now? Screen still dead after :40+ :arrive_alive: . :cry: Update: I have ZERO tolerance for POS software! It's been over an hour, so I turned it off, pulled the USB. :swear:

We have an appointment Monday to get our Navigation worked on. It worked perfectly till 3.5.1. A couple of weeks ago when we would use NAV it would work ONE time, then we would have to do at least 3 usually 6 run/drive/stop before it would work again. Friday we hit a pretty good :jump_earth: bump on I20 between Ft Worth and Dallas. :confused: The MFT screen was on home, nav was saying "insert a new SD card" (I've inserted it a dozen times) the screen flashed, turned gray, USB started playing (it wouldn't work while "insert a new SD card" was displayed. And nav said "nav loading." Everything's working fine now, used nav several times.... We'll report it to get it documented, we're going to use this appointment to get 13B07 and maybe 3.6.

I've been trying to Hypermile. It's not working very well. A few minutes ago 7:15am Sunday morning. I was making a left from a red light onto a 4 lane rd. Carefully watching MPower so the ICE wouldn't start. A Blue Hair :shift: looking through her steering wheel in a Buick passed me :drop: .

I'm pretty sure changing the odometer reading is still against the law. I don't understand why your dealership is denying taking your car for a test drive? I would be upset if they did not take it for a test drive. That would be like Sears sending a repairman to repair the ice maker in your refrigerator, unplugging, change the most likely part, plug it back in and say "it's fixed sign here."

We bought a Certified BMW, took it home and checked the oil...hhuumm oil WAY up on the dip stick. BMW's hold 7 qts, took 14 out. AND THAT'S WHY I DO ALL the maintenance on our cars!!! wab

You don't have to have your oil changed by Ford. Get it changed anywhere and keep the recept. How many miles do you have on THIS oil? In the future schedule your oil change before you reach this mileage.

When you are ready to install a charge wire take a look at item # B004RCXB8A on Amazon. It was an easy DIY for us, less than $25. Our MH had 12V and ground on the factory hitch. I ran both to the 12V jump connections under the hood. We have 2500+ towed miles on the cmax with ZERO problems. I stopped at the first 200 mile mark and tried to start the ICE. It wouldn't start till I ran the AC for several minutes.

That looks GOOD, could you post a picture from a few feet away? What are you going to tow? thanks I would like to tow a 500+/- lb trailer with a 500+/- motorcycle on it. But pg 243 of the owners manual (1st print) says. TOWING A TRAILER WARNING: Never tow a trailer with this vehicle. Your vehicle is not equipped to tow. No towing packages are available through an authorized dealer. I've found several hitch manufactures that make hitches for the C-Max? We would tow about 2700 miles a yr, 650 miles at a time. Thoughts anyone.

Looks good. We keep ours in the pin holder in the glove box. Co-pilot is learning to navigate....slowly...very slowly. She used to get lost on the way home from work. I started asking our granddaughter to point at her house when she was 3. We were in Florida a couple of weeks ago... she pointed towards her house, :wub2: she's 8. wab

It works! :hi5: Took it in yesterday afternoon, needing 1st free oil change, left passenger weather strip repaired and 13A01 (3-5-1). Picked it up this morning. Temperature is on the center screen, geewhiz silhouette is a C-Max, radio presets are still working, I've repaired our phones BUT the "Dual zone AC only works once" still only works once. Our service writer was hoping 3-5-1 would fix it...ooh weeelll. I know a sometimes it works, workaround, but it hasn't worked yet. wab

Wish us luck! Took ours today. When I asked our service writer "how many 13A01's have you done, some is not the correct answer." He smiled :) and said 20. When I asked how many SEL's, he laughed and said "you'll be the first :thumbsup: ." I asked how many failed, he said 2. He also said they use "a guy with a laptop" that travels between dealerships (can I mention AutoNation in Arlington, TX.??) doing upgrades

Highway should be in the mid 30's, depending on speed. We're still waiting on the 47/ not going to happen way too many "highway" 65+ miles EVERY tank. We just returned from Colorado to N. Texas. 668 total miles About 500 of those were at the posted (GPS corrected) speed limit of 75 MPH with AC and ECCO cruise on. I thought about taking a picture...didn't think I would need it. Trip 2 668 miles 34.6 MPG Elevation change was from 8000+' in CO. to 800+' in N. TX. 1 mountain pass at the New Mexico/Colorado border on I25. 70 MPH for 80 miles in N. Mexico. The other miles were at 30, 45 and 60 MPH with a few red lights. We got 6 hyperMillingPG tailgating our motor home on the trip to CO. wab
