  1. When I got my cmax the ramps that I used on my previous car would not work because the cmax is so low to the ground. I had to use a jack and stands to be able to change the oil. Changing the oil was easy once you get it jacked up.
  2. SnowStorm how many miles do you have on your car? Is there a filter for the transmission fluid?
  3. Haven't had that problem but the salesman told me that you have to keep the sensors clean or they won't work right.
  4. Here is mine on left rear @ 45k miles. Still original tires.
  5. Try running the Vehicle Health report and look at the output you get back in an email.
  6. When it is very cold my ICE will start immediately even with heat turned off.

  8. I think a few people lost the Lifetime Summary after one of the ford updates.
  9. Its not easy to get higher mpg until you learn to brake so that you always get in high 90's percent. And then accelerate to your crusing speed and then keep a VERY light foot on the accelerator until you run down the HVB. If you are taking lots of short trips that will kill your mpg as the car isn't warmed up. If it is cold outside use the seat heaters until the car warms up or the car will force the ICE to run to supply the cabin heat. While you are learning to drive for higher mpg's you can initialize the mpg display on the steering wheel controls to give you immediate feedback on how you are doing on each trip. I am getting about 45mpg lifetime and about 50 in the summer and 40 in the winter. If you have a choice on how to get to a destination take the 45mph streets rather than the freeway and it will improve your mpg. Good luck!
  10. While being in neutral accelerating the car may be more efficient, roads have curves and speed limits which limit the efficiency. So it is much more practical to charge up the the HVB and use it when its needed later.
  11. Try turning off the foot and forward vents when trying to defrost quickly.
  12. You are right about the brakes being sensitive. It took me a while to get used to them. But the good news is you are charging the battery back up.
  13. Probably not a good idea. Wouldn't gain you much space and there are wires and controls in there.
  14. For those who have had just the bearing replaced, What is the cost of this repair? Does the transmission need to be pulled to do this? Wonder if it is worth it to proactively replace the bearing.
  15. Rebate is still on this spring for Mobile One synthetic . They also can now email you a check and you just print it out. Still need a wait for them to approve it however long that takes. Good till May 31. https://apfco.com/secure/R9721W
  16. Perhaps one of the fuses blew. You can check them with an ohmmeter.
  17. Agree, that upgrade was done for free on all cars during the summer of 2013.
  18. Have you tried logging into https://owner.ford.comand see what version you can download there? From there you can contact sync support and get their help in finding a dealer that knows what they are doing.
  19. I still have the Gen2v361build13171serviceNARev1.exe file 579mb if you want it. I think that was my first upgrade after buying in apr 2013.
  20. You can go to this site https://www.etis.ford.comand see what recalls haven't been done to your car. You can download the 3.8 sync from the ford owner site and install it yourself or go to a dealer and get them to install 3.10 (latest) but they may charge you for that.
  21. I think you can edit one of the files on the flash drive and force it to reload the same version of sync.
  22. Same here no dead batteries in 5 years. I think this problem was more common on SE cars. Something discharging the battery after shutdown but very difficult to troubleshoot. There was a TSB on it a couple years ago make sure the dealer checks all the trouble spots on that document.
